I definitely do not recommend My baby's face was irritated and she complained that they were too deep and heavy. Considering how much she'd have to endure for her gums, I can only imagine how uncomfortable the spoon would be. I searched many spoon reviews and found that these had good ratings. I bought these spoons for my daughter. She loves them. I love it that they are just the right size and shape for her to teethe on. One con is that they stain with certain foods, but I just use the same stained spoon for those foods as well.
