Chinese ceramics are used to make the mug. This is a very well made mug, but I decided to replace it with a glass mug. I got a glass mug that looks like this Integrated circuit 3020 Enindel. A 5 oz. glass tea mug with an infuser. The book is awesome, and I gave it a five-star rating. Making coffee with it is my favorite thing to do. Almost all goods of this nature are made in China. I can't remember if it was made there.

It's sturdy but not too heavy like many large tea mugs. - I like how there is a large handle on it The handle is long enough that I can fit all four fingers inside it, so my grip feels steady and I don't feel like the cup will slip. Considering that this mug has a rather large size, this is critical. If I'm just casually sipping, the beverage does get a bit cool after about 3/4 of it has been consumed. But if I make it to the end of the day, the tea stays warm for quite a long time. It is acceptable for a cup of this size, but not for a smaller cup. As well as the tea strainer fitting neatly into the lid, I like how it is crafted. In addition to having a deep lid, the mug has a bottom that collects liquids so they don't spill or drip There was a bit of worry that the lid wobbled because it is slightly rounded, but it doesn't. There isn't much movement on the counter when it's there. Another thing I like about the strainer is that the holes are very fine and no bits of tea leaves end up in my cup. This is a good tea mug in general. There is only one thing I would have liked more if there was a spoon I would have loved a measuring spoon or a stirring teaspoon that would have allowed the right amount of tea to be poured into this type of mug for the price.
The tea we drink every day has really taken off in my family as my daughter and I buy two traditional loose leaf infusers every week. The one she had was stainless steel, and I had one made of silicone, but I found it hard to fill and difficult to keep It caught my eye when I saw this mug with the built-in tea infuser insert, but I didn't buy it. is placed in the insert and when you are ready to drink it, you take it out and let it sit in the lid while you drink it. The form and function of this mug were superb. I bought a second one for my daughter to have for her birthday. As much as she loves hers, she loves mine as well. It is safe to say that the old tea infusers are just collecting.
I've never had a tea cup like this and I'm in love with Tea is served in this cup well made and the strainer is of great quality, as is the handle which is so comfortable to hold for this cup size. The cup will keep your tea hot for an extended period of time. While you wait for your hot content to cool down, hold the handle. The cup gets hot and stays hot for a long time if you cuddle it. I love the color of my cup, it reminds me of the trueness of spring. There is a little bit of looseness in the lid, but the strainer fits perfectly. Get two of these cups as you might find yourself keeping them yourself once you have them in your hands. They make a nice gift, but buy two so that you can have two. It is a beautiful tea cup that you will enjoy.
I like this mug because it is both a tea and coffee cup. The lid makes me nervous that it might slide off or snap easily, so I wish it were more stable. If you don't let the tea get stale in it, the tea filter/strainer works fine and easy to clean. Other than that, I really like.
The mug was given to me by a friend and when I inspected it I thought it was too heavy for him. The color was beautiful. There is no doubt that it is.
Thanks for taking the time to give me a drink I'm a slow drinker.
Despite its size, it is comfortable to hold. The loose leaf filter works well and can be reused for other purposes, It's super useful to be able to place the filter on the lid after removing the filter. It's my new favorite way to exercise The act of cupping. Whenever I put it in the dishwasher, it makes me mad.
