Clearly I do not understand what you are asking. The area where it starts to meet the handle is an inch wide. Once this is done, tape it up to 3/4, then down to the The only thing I know is that this is my favorite knife. I have three that I use on a regular basis. Sharp to the point of being painful. The first week you've had it, it will be particularly sharp. What a great idea!
Switzerland is where Kuhn Rikon knives are made
A sheath came with the blue and I got it with a blue blade.
A non-profit organization A stick is only when the blade has a continuous smooth surface the whole way around A non-stick coating makes it less likely for foods to cling to the blade when you slice them. There is no coating on the cutting edge, but both sides of the knife are. usually would not recommend using it to cut anything other than a Teflon pan and nonstick cookware.

It is for this reason that I find it difficult to trust Amazon anymore. The authentic knives are better than the Kuhn Rikon brand knives I have owned before. The are very sharp, and they The pairing knife I got is poorly made, it doesn't feel as good in my hand. A glossy handle and cheap sheath give the knife a cheap feel. In the next few days, I'll be returning it. The experience with Amazon has been disappointing once again. As long as these cheap knock offs are being sold as authentic, they'll continue to do so.

that I bought a second one online. While the first knife is still in good shape, this knife's coating is beginning to chip on second use and its blade doesn't seem as sharp as when I first used it. My mind is a little confused because I have the same knife at a different retailer. Although I had intended to purchase other knives online in different sizes since I thought I had found the perfect knives (dishwasher-safe and sharp), I have decided to hold off on that. It may just be a dud for me.

I was very impressed with it when I used it for the first time. This knife and another of the same brand have been in my possession for two years and are still in excellent condition. This knife does not look like a real Kuhn Rikon, so I'm not sure if it's a defect or not. If I still had the packaging, I would've returned it, but now I'm stuck with it.

My paring knife has stood the test of time well it comes sharpened and holds its edge for several weeks. I have been using it for a month now and am happy with the quality. Regularly, I use this ruler, and it's still a sharp one. Only once have I had to hone the edge (*cough* due to it being used to open a can). Taking it in your hands is comfortable. You don't have to worry about it falling off accidentally because it's snug. My sheath is in my apron (I'm a professional chef, btw), and I've had a sheath fall from my paring knife and cut through my apron while bending down. This one is not a problem. It seems like my other coworkers have been eyeing my knife lately (which is why this time I got a hot pink one). This is the second one I have bought, the first one I purchased only in blue, and the first one went missing before I bought this It's likely that one cook in particular did this, but I don't have proof, so I let it I know that the thieving cook would agree that it is a great knife.

It is the perfect knife for backpacking if you want a knife that leaves no marks on skin. The knife is lighter than most backpacking knives (even compact lightweight ones), but it is large enough to filet a decent size fish and does it well, too! In my own home kitchen, I love the way it looks and holds an edge well. It only gets 4 stars because most of the paint has begun to peel Why does the paint go where it does? Is there anything left in my stomach?.

Are these things popular because they are useful? The colors are pretty, but it is awful for use in the kitchen. A dull edge is present on it. Tested the kitchen only once and it wasn't impressive. We can help you julienne bananas and other soft foods if you need it. There is possibly a positive side to all of this. As well as the product's quality was low, the company's customer service was poor.

I was attracted to this knife due to its sheath, which I never used before, and its nonstick nature was a major factor in my decision. As soon as I heard that, I bought. In addition to its pretty purple color, this item also found my way despite the fact that it clashes terribly with my kitchen decor. This knife has been in my possession and use for almost two years, and it remains as sharp and nonstick as the day I bought Any surface I plunge it into is cut through by this little blade. A cheese platter would have raw potatoes, veggies, and cheese. There is no need to wipe off my blade and everything is perfectly cut. I find the size to be just right. It is easier for me to keep a smaller knife in my hand when I'm in a cooking frenzy. To chop all the wonderful ingredients and do all the prep work for cooking brings me the greatest joy. Whenever I use this knife, I wash it very carefully by hand in hot soapy water, sometimes just rinsing off and drying, sometimes washing as described in this article. Do you know what a super sharp blade this is? Any finger that's not paying attention and gets in the way can be sliced off. In light of the quality and durability of this knife, the price is a true bargain. The one you get for yourself will never let you down.

The product has lasted 5 years, and I would buy it For the last year and a half, I've been using a 4" paring knife. Due to some erosion in the blade coating, I contacted customer support through the Kuhn Rikon website, not through Emailing you a new photo is sending you Even though the blade is thin and fairly stiff, it never felt as if it was about to snap. Despite the fact that I was expecting a smaller edge, it holds it well. The idea was to use it at my cabin, but once I was able to use it here, I turned it into my home computer. In addition to Zwilling Pro knives, I have plenty of other kitchen knives. My hands are large despite being 6' 1" and having large hands, but the handle fits my hands well. The customer support is sending me a brand new pairing knife for free, so I decided to purchase a 6" Chef Knife for my 8 y. o. It's your son. It is wonderful to see him step up and help out with meal prep, especially since my main chef knife measures.
