It seems that the company has created this line of kitchen knife sets to ensure kids are unable to cut themselves with them easily. I have never had a problem with them and my toddler uses them on a regular basis. As with any knife, we must handle them as if they were any other kind, and they are not meant for entertainment. So far, I have not experienced any problems.

Here it is again Amazon deleted my original review, photos and helpful votes, so I am repeating them Plastic knives are beautiful and sturdy despite being bendable, even though they're made from plastic. Their ability to cut through fruits such as apples and pears, as well as shea butter, cocoa butter, bread, and other things, is unexpected. A cool thing is that I can cut an apple into pieces while it is inside a plastic ziplock bag, and the ziplock bag will not be cut. It is easy to slice through fruits with these knives however, there are no sharp or dangerous edges at all. Unlike many serrated edges, these are not too sharp and still very strong. Since I have a chronic pain illness, I find that plastic knives are better for using at home while cooking and making homemade skincare products. I am also hypersensitive to sounds of metal (this is a difficult symptom of the My favorite thing about these knives is the plastic- The handles are well designed to fit your fingers for a comfortable, no-slip grip, and they're totally functional. My recommendation to both kids and adults would be to buy this product!.

After reading the reviews, I decided they should have their own collection of knives. I don't think these are worth anything. Neither the lettuce nor carrots can be cut through easily with one of these knives. When they are used, they slip sideways, which in my view is more dangerous than just letting the kids use a real knife under It would be a waste of.

I bought these for my two year old twins to use (supervised, Strawberry is their most popular snack right now, so we usually cut those up. I love these knives! I think they are great! Truth be told, it was even better than I expected. Despite their promise, they WILL cut off your finger - but don't think they will saw it off - A regular knife set is still terrible, but not nearly so bad. It took me a couple weeks of really getting into it to teach the children how to use and hold the knives and food, but they're cutting their own strawberries now fairly proficiently after practicing for a couple weeks!
Definitely recommend these knives! The kids might outgrow them soon as well, so I'll use them then.

She cut up zucchini, red pepper, and mushrooms with them. Despite the fact that they were easier to use on mushrooms, they were much harder to use on other vegetables. They were pretty cool, but she quickly realized they weren't sharp enough to do everything she wanted them to do. She won't like them for long, so I think the novelty will wear off quickly.

When I purchased this set, I was skeptical that it would actually chop anything, but it did! Though kids won't be able to make a fine chop or slice, they will easily be able to rough chop veggies and proteins. I really like this, it's fun! An A++++.

This is a great buy! My preschool class would love these knives because they are just the right length I am a kid of this age. It can be used by adults because it is the largest size. The price is $10 for 8 pieces. I am very happy about this I used to give my kid cutlery every time she ate fruits and vegetables, such as bananas, strawberries, etc. Now she has to do some more serious stuff, but not the real thing just Knives like these are great for the.

My goal was to get my kids out of the house and out of the kitchen, but I hesitated to give them the This is hard plastic (I have not fully tested its durability due to the fact that we only received and used them (My older kid loves green. ) He is using a knife that is 11 inches long. It measures about 5 inches long (blade and handle combined). I was able to cut the Opo squash without issue. The younger one used the smallest (orange) I am 5 inches tall. The red mangoes can be cut with it without causing damage to small I'm happy with how things are going so far. Hopefully we will update the post as we use the knives for a longer period.
