The following information is being disclosed As a professional pumpkin carver, I do not have any experience. As evidence of that, I think I carved my own Cheshire cat. The "toothpick" that comes in most grocery kits made me tired. So, I bought this kit to use in place of the standard toothpick included in the kit. It seemed like a bargain to get 8 tools for less than 20 dollars. This set of tools was so fine and sharp that I was shocked. Having never struggled to carve my design, or worried that the tools would bend or break, I never hesitated to proceed with my plans. Scooping out everything from the pumpkin was incredibly easy with the large round tool with serrated edges. Now it's easier than ever to get your hands on those seeds! It would be a great idea to wear gloves since they will slide if your hands get dirty. I believe this is a good product all in all. I found the price to be very reasonable. If you're looking for something a little different to carve a pumpkin with- If this is the right purchase for you, then go for it.

Thanks for your pumpkin carving set! I am so happy I bought it! The sets are more expensive than the cheap ones you can buy at the grocery store, which break midway through carving - but they're also better quality. Years of use are going to be available for these tools. Our pumpkins were easy to hold and cut through with these tools rather than using the cheap carving sets in the past (making the designs we wanted much easier). It was much easier to remove the insides using the scoop than with a spoon since the size was so large. The fact that this comes in a zippered case is a plus since I do not have to worry about storing it all. (And I will use it on trips when we go pumpkin picking with friends and carve pumpkins away from home. ).

This kit is made of poor quality materials I found the cheap plastic kits to be more sturdy. I got halfway through one pumpkin before my knives broke. I like the look of them, but they're not practical. In addition, ensure that the parts are well dried out as rust develops.

It comes in a nice case that zips up so you won't lose the tools. Having used the cheap plastic dollar carving kits and having the carving blade bend like it was made from foil for years, I was very impressed with this set. A nice variety of tools are available. Some of them seem quite sharp (as they should be), but they seem nice and well written. I very much like the metal on the blade and scoop handles, which runs the entire length of the handle. I'm looking forward to carving pumpkins this year.

A better set will probably be the next thing I get. There may be a set of wood carving tools that will make pumpkin carving.

I and my 9-year-old are obsessed with pumpkins every year, but the 8-year-old isn't quite as devoted All the items needed for a labor-saving kit are included in the kit The scooper was very useful for cutting out the rind of my pumpkin and for sculpting it, I used the larger one to cut out the top and the smaller one for more detailed shaping. In my opinion, it was better than my previous kit for emptying the pumpkin.

The wooden, metal, and wood set within this set is a great price for just a few more dollars than the cheap plastic kits. It is a set that I believe will last for many years. The cheap plastic emergency kits are all sold out in every store in town now so there is no need to go to every one. Having access to this kit has been a real pleasure.

I am happy to have it given that it is very easy to use. In the past, I have always bought plastic pumpkins that I can only use for a single pumpkin because they break, but this one looks like it will last a long.
