They can be used for a variety of things, but I bought them specifically to store cold brew coffee and other cold drinks like lemonade. The only thing I don't like is that some of the metal rings are rusting after a few uses, and I once tasted rust while drinking from the jar, which is unpleasant and disappointing for a brand new made in the USA product. In any case, these are the gold standard for Mason jars, and they're highly versatile. They also look nice as drinking vessels if your style is traditional/farmhouse, as it is in our older rural home. It's a good idea to have a few of these on hand because you can make multiple batches with a total capacity of over a gallon.
I'm not sure about the pricing, but given how difficult mason jars are to come by in my area, it was fine. My boxes were well-packaged, and even included a jar opener pad. In my box, I discovered a cute freebie.
So far, I've used my mason jars to make juice for my husband, father, and myself, as well as to sprout wheat seedlings for wheat grass. They are extremely durable and can be used for a variety of purposes.
These are great because they are simple to clean and wash. They seal well with both cold and hot food ingredients. br> br>I'll order more if I need them in the future!.
I despise getting knocked down. rip-offs and low-cost reproductions It appears that these are genuine. On the sides, there is a traditional design with a double lid.
Because of their versatility, I prefer ball jars. This size is ideal for pickling and making Gin, which is exactly what I did with these jars. according to the labels on the bottles There's also Amazon's lightning-quick shipping. The day I placed my order for Ball jars and ingredients. The gin was being made three days later.
I'm trying to cut down on the amount of plastic I use for food storage. I'm going with stainless steel and glass. The jars were in excellent condition when they arrived. I haven't tried canning with them yet, but I plan to do so in the near future.
Keeping tomato sauce from my mother's garden in the fridge. If you don't know how to can properly, you should first look it up on the internet.
