The type of tea determines whether you are able to drink it. When I made an herbal tea with very fine leaves, I had a problem. My method was to gently dunk the ball into a cup of warm water, or under the tap to moisten the leaves first, and then to let it sit on a dry saucer for a few minutes until the water boiled. Leaves expand inside the ball and become much less likely to fall through the holes as a result. The trace wasn't much, just a few bits of information here and there.
With the use of a measure, it holds approximately 1 (one) teaspoon of loose tea. The more you fill, the more likely it is to
In total, the OXO Twisting Tea Ball measures 7.25 inches in length. This information is provided in the hope it will be helpful.
Based on its description from all the sites I visited, it seems like the whole thing is stainless steel (except for the plastic handle).

The purpose of this review is to give the ball a chance to shine with loose leaf black tea that is not extremely fine. Here is what the ball does well with careful use. As an infuser, it works well as it is easy to scoop tea and close the ball. It is easily cleaned as Here are some things I think need to be improved. In order to make a cup of tea with the ball, I need to use more tea than the ball can hold. When I use half of a ball, it expands enough to fill the ball, causing brewing to be less efficient and making rotating the opening to clean it more difficult. If the ball is too small, you can't expand it however, if it is too large, you can put less tea in it.
There is supposed to be a detent on the handle that provides a means of keeping the 2 halves of the ball properly closed once it has been filled with tea. Due to the weak detent, it is easy to close the ball in such a way that the edges are slightly out of alignment. My attention was drawn to the misalignment only after I examined it carefully. During brewing, some tea leaves may leak out of the ball into the cup if the edges are out of alignment. The two halves of the ball should overlap more when the ball is closed to help solve this problem as well. The alignment of the ball is crucial to ensure that leaves do not leak. It is possible that this is one of the reasons why users of fine teas report leaf and water leakage on occasion. Despite the fact that the concept is clever, the design and manufacturing could be upgraded by enlarging the ball, ensuring that the edges overlap when the ball is closed, and ensuring the detent is properly positioned when the ball is closed. If you pay me 1, I will gladly accept. You would have to pay at least 5 to 2x as much for a well-executed version of this device, which is why we only rate it.
A backpack and a water bottle are my travel companions Choosing to live in a tent as a primary mode of transportation. Quality craftsmanship has come to be a trusted brand for me You will find that this tea strainer is just what you need for loose leaf tea. It has been over five years since I use the same strainer, and I still use it today I keep it with me all the time. It's worth mentioning that I can let the handle sit out of a hydroflask with the lid on, allowing the handle to be extremely long and sturdy There are 15 steep & steep slopes Stir until smooth. As a critical note, this tea might result in "cowboy tea," or tea with embedded particles. In this case, perhaps you could use a tea bag or leaf, as loose teas like rooibos and teas such as oolong could be used. Tea strainers are not only useful for steeping teas they can also be used for other teas. This strainer is designed for fancy rolled tea leaves, for those of you who know your tea history. I am sending a good vibe your way**
Tea can be very healthy for the body. Here's to your health-- Having a great wealth is the greatest thing! You'll love it!.
The fact that I am writing this hurts me, because I adore Oxo products, but this one fell short. That's an elegant concept that strikes the balance of both elegance and simplicity at the same time The problem is- This steeper is made by OXO, and has a more functional look than some of the steepers out there. I wish it were better, but I can't deny it. I can guarantee that small pieces of the leaves leak out of the infuser When the two layers overlap, some leaves do get stuck between them, but it's super easy to scoop out the used tea (just turn the knobs). Whether it's because I'm a neat freak, or because I obsess over getting every single leaf piece out, sometimes it can take me a bit to get the infuser "clean" and "leaf-free. " This is "free". How likely is it that I would I think so. I can grab it on a lazy day and load up on good stuff when I'm in the mood with this product's price and function while still staying within my budget Just toss into a cup of hot water with a pinch of salt. I am disappointed, however, that the infuser is not fine enough to keep the small tea leaves from leaking out, and I would appreciate it if the spoon could be disassembled so that the inner metal surface could be cleaned.
Although it does a good job of keeping the tea bits out of your water, it totally fails when it comes to its most important duty.
