You shouldn't buy it, it will rust in one The following is a brief summary of the phenomenon Boiling water for tea is something I do two or three times a week
3/5

It is a kettle we have for a long time, and we dry it out The little bit of water in it that is trapped is hard to get rid of. The cracks in the bottom of the kettle started rusting after a short time. I called KitchenAid 1 year and a few weeks after buying the kettle to ask what I should do as I was concerned about drinking water from Initially, all I was told was to throw it away, and then they sold me a new one! You will need to buy a new kettle from KitchenAid every year if you purchase one from them. In response to my comment that I didn't want to buy a new one if it will just rust, they just said sorry and left me to chat.

This kettle is awesome
5/5

The kettle I purchased about 9 months ago is still in good shape and I am very pleased with it. My initial reaction to ordering was one of reluctance as I had read some negative reviews. There were people who started getting rust problems several months into the project. In order to ensure that the moisture can escape, I leave the lid open after boiling water. I also never leave anything in the pot. It dries that way pretty quickly and prevents rust, so it's really good for one pot.
It's a smaller kettle and I think it would be good for 1-pot. The serving size is for two people. I believe the size of the cup is too small for a whole family of tea drinkers Update

) It is still a satisfactory purchase for me. Despite being used for three years, the kettle is still working and looks like the day it was first purchased. I have taken only two pictures of the inside so far. The two pictures are below. My daily routine includes using it at least once.

It was purchased in Nov 2016 and it has not been updated since then

After 5 months, I haven't found my product to work. I bought it in November 2016. In order for it to connect with the base, I have to push it down. But sometimes it works.

It would be nice if it wasn't made of plastic

It's rare for me to write reviews on Amazon, but in this case I was compelled to do so due to the large number of confusing reviews regarding this product. This is not the electric kettle for you if you want to avoid plastic like I do. In the pot there are four parts made of plastic.
