Questions & Answers

Do you use plastic or stainless steel for the interior?

A plastic bottom cover is included with the lid. An interior of stainless steel can be found in the cylinder.

What is the removable filter capacity of this device?

This small device consists of a fine metal mesh filter inside a plastic frame that traps particles (such as scale from hard water) when water is poured. There is no water filter on it to protect the water There is a removable filter that can be removed and washed under running water. In the event you don't push it all the way down, leaks may occur.

Can you tell me where it is ?

My question is, reading the packaging and instruction sheet, I didn't find any information regarding where the kettle was made. Having thrown the box away, I went to the trash. If you are interested in doing so, you might want to speak directly to Hamilton Beach. Please forgive me for not being able to be more helpful.

Do you know if this kettle works anywhere where there is a 220 volt power outlet?

This kettle will run on 220V voltage, so maybe you can't use it in areas where the voltage is high.

This is how fast the Cuisinart CPK kettle boils water for tea The difference between 17 and 18 is 37 points
4/5

The beach at Hamilton Beach is Can they both be said to be It is the Cuisinart CPK-600 The 17 adjustable temperature tea kettle is the winner of several consumer tests performed by reputable manufacturers. However, the price is a real deterrent. When I learned the Hamilton Beach 41020 was the same kettle for just over half the price, I was delighted. Investing in quality appliances is always a high priority. However, I also look for the best price and greatest long-term value. In fact, it appeared the two kettles even came from the same factory, and I was confident I was about to have the same experience as the first one. Below you will find a spoiler alert so do not read any further. Do they have the same meaning? My smug assumption was that they are. A test is being conducted. That's not how it works! The Cuisinart CPK-900 In contrast, 17 is a very big deal. The Hamilton Beach 41020 / Designs by The two models look almost the same in the photos, but the HB has a slight height advantage. This machine is slightly more streamlined in its design than the Cuisinart. The lighter version weighs just over an ounce more than the heavier model. This tea kettle will not fit on the base of the other brand because the bases are slightly different. Pop-up lid of HB is slightly wider than that on HD. It may be easier for some people to fill for that reason, but both models have ample room for filling. The Cuisinart CPK-900 Comparison between the 17-cup tea kettle and the 2-cup tea kettle The work at Hamilton Beach 41020 was executed with the following skills Getting surprised was a pleasant surprise. In spite of the HB's good looks, it is fabricated from stainless steel that is a little rougher than the KA. It feels as if the workmanship is inferior. It is generally considered to be more solid than the Cuisinart. The craftsmanship of the HB I would consider perfectly acceptable even if compared to the better built Cuisinart. The lids are in fact quite different from the Cuisinart. There is a bit of floppy motion happening when opening the lid of the lighter. With the Cuisinart lid, the hinge is more solid and the lid is heavier. Compared to the previous one, it opens more confidently. On the other hand, the almost identical fill window on the HB is actually more accurate, and the cup markings appear alongside the liters as well. The Cuisinart CPK-900 The difference between 17 and 18 is 37 points. The Hamilton Beach 41020 comes with a wide variety of temperature choices There is a slight difference between the two, but both are almost the same. They both offer a feature that will allow you to hold the brewing temperature for up to Which brand is better? What's the difference between the two? Keep warm is by default on the Cuisinart coffee maker, but it can be easily turned off either before brewing or after. On the HB, the keeps warm button must be pressed manually as it defaults to off. would much rather have the default set to My wife and I love it as I can get up first, have green tea brewed to the proper temperature of 175 degrees and then wait for my wife. After her next cup is poured, the next one can be poured at the same temperature. It is more likely that you would prefer the HB if you will never want a second cup. Please keep in mind that with capacities of 1, you will only be able to use one. With a combined volume of 7 liters, these kettles have plenty of room for multiple pours. Cooking with the Cuisinart The difference between 17 and 18 is 37 points. The following important performance tests are carried out on Hamilton Beach 41020 The 1500-watt specs of both made me anticipate great performance, and that is exactly what I got. Please refer to page 1 for a complete overview. In a 7 liter pot (57 ounces), the Cuisinart shut off at the boiling point of 212 degrees As a result, the HP took seven As far as real life is concerned, Using a Cuisinart, the process for 24 ounces took just 3 minutes I got it done in 2 minutes and 31 seconds for 16 ounces In comparison to the microwave and stovetop, they don't measure up. Another close race ensued between the two teams. At 175 degrees, the Cuisinart took just a couple of minutes to brew green tea The odds were 22 to 24 ounces, and the odds were awesome There is a 40 cent charge per In two seconds, the HB finished 24 ounces Twenty for the eight ounces, and just one for the sixteen ounces Regardless of what you feel at this point, you probably think it is stupid. The Hamilton Beach is already cheap, so why not just buy it? The following reasons explain why the HB's performance is not comparable to that of the Cuisinart The Cuisinart CPK-900 The difference between 17 and 18 is 37 points. The consistency of the temperature at Hamilton Beach, 41020 Upon reaching 212 degrees, both brands reached the boiling point at the moment of shutoff. It is highly likely even so that you will buy a kettle with greater versatility in terms of brewing at different temperatures, isn't it? I used Thermapen instant read thermometer to measure 176 in the Cuisinart after it stopped brewing green tea at 175 degrees, the thermometer measured the same temperature as the Cuisinart after it stopped brewing. You did a great job! The HB value was 186 degrees for the same test when the HB setting was 175 186 is where I'll set the setting! 185 is where I'll set! Changing the temperature was the first step in repeating the test. Cuisinart always came up with the right temperature. The HB was inaccurate and its holding temps were also less reliable than Cuisinart.

However, this may not be an issue for everyone, so it might still be worth looking into. You may not need a kettle that can be adjusted if all you want from it is to boil water for black tea, ramen, etc. The ones you'll find for $20 and below are quite nice. The Cuisinart CPK-900 The difference between 17 and 18 is 37 points. Along with Hamilton Beach 41020's warranty, here are the long-term measures A possible advantage lies with HB in this area. Although Cuisinart comes with an interesting three-year warranty, I have read complaints that their customer service department is difficult to work with. In fairness, we have had Cuisinart coffee makers, waffle makers, and ice cream makers, Having never needed warranty service with the HB, I was surprised to read that more people complain about it breaking down rapidly than it did with the Cuisinart. Some said that no matter which brand it is, the numbers can wear off with use. As you can see, my story actually does end with a surprise. Oh my gosh. I just don't understand. I'm disappointed in you, Hamilton Beach! The temperature of an adjustable tea kettle should be accurate, aside from minor workmanship issues. At the end of the day, I would rather purchase a kettle I intend to use for years that will reproduce heat faithfully and consistently at the setting I select.

If you pay more for the Cuisinart, then you are likely to get a higher quality If you buy a kettle that is more consistent and more expensive, you will potentially save money in the long run. Here are some tips if you're looking to pick the right kettle for you. I hope you find them helpful.

There are many similar products on the market, but this one has the best value
4/5

What actually happens when it does this? It's kind of true. Based on testing three different kettles from Amazon, you can see the results in the above chart. It is normal for the Epica (6 Temperature Stainless Steel) to be outside of its specification (about 9°F). It is the Cuisinart CPK-600 In each of the temperature settings, the 17AMZ and Hamilton Beach 41020 usually differ by 3°F to 5°F. Those aren't huge differences, but they are as much as the difference in temperature between some of the settings (for example, All of these units were produced in the same place, as you can see from their appearance There is a great deal of similarity in the controls and construction of both It is only a relatively minor stylistic difference between them. I kept the Hamilton Beach, so I am keeping it. Cuisinart is about 40% more expensive than this machine, but it's about as accurate. It also has a larger opening at the top, which makes it easier to get a hand inside to clean or dry it.

It's as good as before, but at 50% less cost

I got it for my wife for Christmas, and she uses it every single The woman enjoys it a lot. In addition to saving 50%, this one is a lot simpler than the Cuisinart. The only specific difference I see is that there is a button that says "close here" on top of the lid. Because of my wife's daughter having a Cuisinart, we wanted one as well. It does not seem to really make a difference what she uses now.

The kettle works really well! A perfect cup of To be honest, this kettle was one of my Christmas requests
5/5

In my house, I drink a lot of tea and I had an old electric kettle that I wanted to replace. The decision was a great one for me! It is the first time I have ever drunk black tea at home without it tasting bitter. The kettle beeps a couple of times when it reaches the right temperature. It just wasn't possible to get the right temperature with my old kettle. My tea is brewed perfectly this time, and I'm so glad about that. The blue LED lights that illuminate the side of the kettle make it easy for me to see how much water is in it. During the heating process, the water heats rapidly. Besides looking beautiful on my countertop, the kettle is aesthetically pleasing as well. There is one thing that I have noticed that may be a negative I already noticed a tiny bit of rust at the bottom of the kettle where it looks like a probe may be placed to gauge the water's temperature. Despite this, I forgot to completely empty the kettle after using it a few times, so water was left in the kettle when idle for hours. I'm going to make sure from now on that I empty the kettle after each use and perhaps leave the lid slightly ajar to allow water to evaporate I am very happy with my purchase!.
