There were two degrees difference in my candy thermometer reading at 210° F (98° C) and 212° F (100° C), but that difference is so small that it could have been two degrees different. It took the space heater 5 minutes and 57 seconds to heat up, and it makes a wind-like noise as it heats up. It stops blowing when it reaches boiling temperature. There is an indicator light on the kettle when it is on so it's easy to figure out how to turn it on and off. In terms of safety, the automatic shut-off is good, but there is no sound to call your attention to the end of the heating process, so if you forget, you have to restart. A long spout is very useful since it offers extra control and looks kind of cool as well. The French press is extremely easy to set up and has great intuitive controls.
It holds the perfect amount of water for my French press (26 oz. It would weigh around 800 grams or 28 oz 850mL)
There is a max fill line that I have probably exceeded by less than 1/8 of an inch or 3 cm without ever experiencing any problems. Isn't big enough to take up much space on the counter or in a cabinet.

I have been looking for a little electric kettle that's My old electric kettle got tired since I drink tea and I hated it for this reason. A little over a year ago, I purchased one of the more expensive models, but returned it because it had so many bells and whistles. You do not have the ability to control the temperature, as it is simply a button you click that turns itself off once it reaches near boiling point. The one you are looking at is not suitable if you want to heat the water to a precise temperature. I use it for tea and my French press and it has been so nice to be able to tuck my little coffee bar area into it instead of having to heat up The same thing could be used to make oatmeal when I was in a hurry (place the oatmeal in a bowl and pour hot water over it instead of putting it in the kettle). A great value and a great experience overall Compared to ones I've seen for over twice the price, this looks much nicer than those. I'd include a picture, but my house was broken into and I saw it stolen. It has been on my wish list for quite some time now. Once I receive the second one in a few days, I will update this review with a picture. The moment I realized that my other one had been stolen I tried to find another that is similar since this one was out of stock every day for a while, but this one was worth the wait because it is perfect. I am so happy I bought it!.
It's a no-brainer I use this tea kettle because it is simple and effective. It doesn't heat up as fast as some of the long neck tea kettles, but it looks much more classy than the others. With it, I get a great bloom when I pour over my coffee.
According to the advertisement, the kettle holds 1 liter (1,000 grams in American terms). While most people don't need to worry about this, if you're buying this for a guest, make sure to include this instruction Due to the 11 ratio of coffee to water, this requires TWO BOILS to place the water in the pot.
