Would I be able to connect this to a smart plug and schedule it to come on and off?
The electric kettle boils over so easily that I am never able to leave it alone. This heater heats water very quickly, and I was able to use it, but it boiled over once I was not present to turn off the burner.
I've boiled the kettle a lot and it seems to leave a strong plastic taste in the water after a few Which method would be best for me to follow?
My name is William, and I'm writing to you regarding the Comfee This is the 7L MK-based This low-noise electric kettle will keep you warm. I am sorry to hear that the odor issue with your appliance has arisen. Filling the unit with vinegar, then filling it with zero, is a great way to clean the unit. Allow the vinegar and water to sit for one hour. 5L of vinegar goes in, the rest goes in clean water. It should be cleaned out, filled with purified water, boiled, then emptied. Then wipe the interior with a damp cloth. Then it should be disposed of. To get rid of any odors in the unit, repeat the process several times. We will update when we can
Currently, the quality is questionable. Boiling water quite quickly is one of the benefits of this kettle. Despite that, however. After just one week of daily use, the device has developed multiple areas of rust and stains. There is a considerable amount of rust on the surface, as shown in my pictures. Since it was above the surface of the water, it is strange to see it rust there so quickly after being used so much. Having encountered the problem a couple of times, I have my doubts about the quality of the "stainless steel" the manufacture uses on the item.
I have since ordered a replacement via amazon and will update if the problem recurs.

Great kettle! I love it
I heat up the water in the kettle until it's very full. He is the best kettle ever. He has an easy pouring mechanism, and he will never burn you from outside. This kettle will be used for everything that requires hot liquid. The electric kettle you sent me is awesome!.

The only way to make it better is to make it worse
Originally bought a unit a year ago that had a faulty on/off toggle switch. Bought this replacement unit to replace it. Compared to previous models, this new one seems to have suffered from degraded performance. that the "rate features" does not include a "performance rating" category because they do not want you to know it. ) My first unit had a stainless steel body and this new one is mostly plastic. When I first bought this unit, it heated water much more quickly. The water could be heard rapidly heating within seconds of the unit being turned on. Compared to the first replacement unit, this second one has a longer, almost minute-long delay before it can be heard In a pan on the stove, you may be able to heat the water as fast as a microwave, but don't have the automatic shut off that's nice to have, and the risk of boiling over isn't there. I suspect that an old fashioned teapot for stove top heating with a steam-activated whistle will work almost the same and provide the same function for much less money. The toggle switch at the base of this replacement feels weaker and may suffer the first failure pattern sooner than the previous year. It is likely the toggle switch component is completely plastic inside and out, which will quickly fatigue and fail). Wish companies would focus on improving their product line performance rather than making it cheaper to ensure that it fails sooner.

I was amazed at how quiet it was I think it was a good investment
The pros are Plus (+5)*a very low sound level
+ Stainless Steel It has a stainless steel interior, lid, and spout, but it's still light enough to be durable
+ a reasonable 1L = 2*2 20 minutes and 1 minute. 5L+7 = 7 A water pours without dribbling at least 20)
Cons There is an insufficient amount of light coming from the LED indicator light
- I'd like to see an interior that is seamless or unibody- It would be far easier to read the inside water level markings if they were on both sides (which is not ideal for left-handers)* Holding down the release button when closing the lid will prevent the lid from closing with a loud thud.

PLEASE BE SLOW! There should be a 1230W instead of a 1500W
The previous Amazon Basics kettle sounded like a rocket launch. The TV volume had to be turned up because of the noise. Until the 10 seconds before you hear the rolling boil, you barely notice this thing. A powerful force For the delivery of 1, it took 8 minutes exactly. The number seven zeroes A heating element would need to be able to heat 45 gallons (212 ft) of water from 63F to rolling boil (assuming 212F at sea level), so the power rating is 1230W rather than the 1500 listed. Since I took thermodynamics in high school 30 years ago, I may be mistaken). What are the reasons for not giving it **Range 1 - The level of the water should be indicated by a reference / window outside. Two more sources It would be nice if the "on" LED were brighter. It is so quiet, and the LED is so dim, that it is hard to tell if the switch is actually on. The third point In addition, the pouring spout is a little sloppy, dribbling a little bit on the side. The pastel colors and black aren't what I'd prefer, there should be white or stainless steel as well. A few things to keep in mind The 1l kettle will seem enormous if you are used to a 1l kettle.

I like the features of this kettle very much
A full pot of water can be boiled in less than five minutes using this product because of its high wattage. This product is also very quiet while doing so, so it can be used not only at home, but also in an office environment. My coffee maker is actually quieter than it when compared to it. Not sure if other folks who noted a very short cord have noticed, but I thought the same thing when it first came out of the box since it only protruded around 6". After flipping the paper over, I saw a convenient area where I could coil my paper This kitchen appliance extends to a length of 24" when fully extended, which is pretty standard. The plug is grounded (3 prongs), so it can be used with an extension cord if you need more power. Without going into all its features, you can read about them on this page, let me just say that this description is 100% accurate, with no false promises The "high price" is an issue on other reviews I've read.

I used it for one month before it blew up
Kettles like this are really nice looking. The unit heated up rapidly and automatically shut off when it reached a boiling point. There is a problem with the system today - I heard a loud pop and the breakers blew out in my kitchen. There is now a loose switch on the auto-off unit and I don't want to risk using it. This is my last chance to return My return period closed last week.

It has a few minor flaws but is otherwise solid
I was able to use the kettle I love how quickly it boils water and how quiet it is. Besides, it would be nice if it made a little more noise, but that is purely a matter off taste.
The two flaws that kept it from getting five stars Please note - In this design, there is no switch - it has a separate light on the base. It is impossible to see whether the kettle is on if the light is turned towards the wall, and it isn't possible to tell whether it is on from sound, because it is Please note - This spout has a defect, so there is a rough flow of water. As it swirls and splashes, it twirls and turns. It's not the end of the world if you pour your tea low enough, but it's still a hassle. I had to boil water three times in it to remove a smell inside it. It came with some industrial smell inside the container. Hopefully, this is not a major issue, but just wanted to let you know. Update Not the kettle is dead after two years in the water. After it got stuck to its base, you lifted the stick and at the same time lifted the base. Several times was necessary to forcefully remove it from the base before it decided to die. An electric spring inside the base of the kettle was damaged, which is responsible for delivering electricity. The stars have been knocked off by one. There are no good things about this.
