There is a lot of value for the money. It's nice that there are five nesting bowls, so there is a lot of variety in sizes. It's great that these lids are so durable. Pre-reading is one of my favorite things Having ready-made pancake batter the night before is a great idea. Make it in one bowl, cover it, and store it the next day for easy access. I will use it the next day. In my cabinet, I stack the nesting bowls on top of the lids, and it looks so neat and tidy. A key feature is that the mixing bowls are made of stainless steel and have rubber bottoms to prevent sliding while mixing. bowls are very lightweight since they are made of stainless steel. The outcome of their durability will be evaluated over time however, light weight is preferred for me due to some neck issues that bother me with heavy items (cast iron pans are a bad It is nice to have light, compact bowls. I can grab a stack of them from under my cabinet, choose my preferred size, and set the others back under the cabinet without straining my neck. In addition to preventing scratches on the inside of stainless bowls, the rubber at the bottom of each bowl prevents scraping against the stainless bowls they hide in. I haven't encountered any problems yet, but I will report if any do arise. A few extra kitchen tools aren't a bad idea for extras - I like to leave the measuring cups with my bag of flour, sugar, shredded cheese, etc. , so I don't have to hunt down the right measuring cup each time I need to use it. Although I already have them in my kitchen drawer, I will be happy with the silicone pastry brush and stainless whisk as extras in this set. If you are moving to an apartment, condo, college, etc. , this would be a good starter set for you.
