Questions & Answers

Could you please tell me if the measurements are also in metric, or only in cups?

You are right. In addition to ml and nl There is one side of liters and one side of cups, ounces. I, & On the other, we have quarts.

Is it safe to put boiling water in it?

The only problem is that if you are holding a hot pot full of boiling water by the handle, you will need a strong wrist. Just by the weight of the bowl, it must be quite heavy. I wish you the best of luck!

Is it possible to microwave popcorn with this product?

As far as popcorn is concerned, it should work. The bowl looks similar to a Pyrex mixing bowl I've used to make popcorn in the microwave, and it's quite large. The plastic lid should not be used while popping corn unless it is indicated that it can be used in the microwave. Make sure the lid has a loose fit if you use one. It helps to spread the heat around in the bowl if there is some oil. Popcorn tastes pretty good when it's popped with olive oil. It is also good to use coconut oil. The recipe may need to be adjusted depending on the microwave and bowl you use.

What is the size difference between the red and blue lids?

Each of the red and blue lids has a stainless steel bowl with a handle of the same size.

The quality of this product is great! This bowl reminds me of the one I used to have, but I lost everything in a house fire
5/5

I am a single mom now and I definitely miss this bowl. Seeing that brand isn't as affordable as it used to be, I looked at other brands. Even better, it is half the price, and the lid is more pliable, easier to put on and take off, as well as being In the past, I always felt the lid may crack or tear when I struggled to take it off, but this one seems to be much more durable. Thank you so much, I'm so.

Don't let anything go wrong

My hand was cut on the inside edge of the bowl when I washed it for the first time.

Therefore, the first one has undergone repeated heat and cool cycles without the stress causing it to break down
5/5

For example, I use the other microwave to continuously heat up sugar water to make simple syrup, and it also experiences the heat/cool strain that can break glasses. I think they are pretty solid given how well they have held up so far. Honestly, I don't like the lid much (I find it difficult to remove), but I don't really use it, so that doesn't matter a whole lot.

I am not satisfied with the quality
3/5

There is a cutout section of the bowl where the lip of the bowl is fused. In the bowl, though, a portion of the lip protruded above the level of the bowl, creating a little valley that needs to be cleaned regularly. For a food prep bowl made of glass, the interface should be smooth.
Even worse, the inside of the handle has a ridge that is believed to have formed from where the pieces of the mold came together. Even with the heavy empty bowl on top of this ridge, it is not comfortable. It would be fairly painful to stand on the ridge if it were filled with water. While it would be nice to have a batter bowl that had raised lettering rather than paint, this is not the right one for you. I regret to inform you that this bowl was made in the US. It was disappointing. We should have an easy time returning the items to our UPS store, fortunately.

Quality that is second to none
5/5

The update is Despite the lid fitting quite tightly and not being easy to remove, it leaks like crazy when filled with water. I am drenched in it! Among the Pros Feature a tapered bottom that aids in stirring and scraping at the bottom. I like the thick glass like they used to make in the old days. Measurements need not be painted, but should be embossed. This is clear. A heavy load. It has a snug fitting The cons are There is such a tight fit on the lid that it is nearly impossible to remove. Notes on

The one you need to buy is this one. The value you get from your money depends on the brand you choose. The one I tried was cheaper, but had a flat base and corners that made scraping with a spatula impossible (basically a very, very large measuring cup), it had measurements painted on that would wash off, and the handle only attached at the Nevertheless, it was nearly impossible to remove the lid, but it is well worth it since A) I will not use it much and B) I will not wear it out. Food is kept fresh and safe from contamination by sealing It should be free of spills or leaks. Use the additional funds to purchase something you want. Don't let this chance pass you by. A new item was shipped to me almost immediately (before I had the original one returned). It Thanks a lot, Amazon! I have just bought the second one.

Mixing bowls with good quality A new one is being installed to replace the old one
5/5

To replace the similar one I received as It was finally time to replace my old Anchor Hocking mixing bowl It had been badly etched from the beaters on my hand mixer, and it was finally chipped along the In high school, I loved making my own paper. So this one is very similar to my old one, except I have an extra The only other one I will need to purchase in my lifetime might be this one (assuming I don't drop it). Anchor Hocking, thank you for your consistently high-quality products!.

A batter bowl is one of my favorite things
3/5

A batter bowl is one of my favorite things. One of the hinges on this one fits well, but the handle has a sharp edge on the inside, which makes holding it (there's a lot of weight in it empty) unpleasant. As soon as Anchor's production is finished, I hope they will resolve this problem.

I was able to get what I wanted on my second try! It came at a perfect time for me, and I was happy to have it
4/5

After receiving the first bowl (red lid), I was disappointed because there was a line running along the seam just under the spout. In addition to the 2 inches of glass edge, the bowl had a 1 inch thin metal edge on one side. Since I didn't trust myself to get a better one, I did not replace it. Then a few weeks later, I decided to try again. This time, I ordered the blue lid, in case it had come from a different batch. Moreover, it's manufactured in the United States, so that's a plus!.
