Questions & Answers
As with all Pyrex, it can be used in the oven. Of course, the lid isn't one of them. The dishes have a lot of depth to them, which I really like. For those larger recipes, there's no need to be concerned about spillage while baking, and there's plenty of space to dish without making a mess.
Our design team has provided us with some additional information. The 9x13" dish has a 3" inner height, while the two smaller dishes have a 2" inner depth. 75". We hope you found this information to be beneficial!
This item is made of soda lime glass and is produced at our Charleroi, Pennsylvania plant, which has been producing Pyrex since the 1950s.
No, the lids cannot be used in the oven.

I was preparing macaroni and cheese to bring to a funeral. Imagine my surprise when I opened the oven door to find the dish had exploded and macaroni and cheese was all over the place! Worse yet, it happened in my brand-new oven! I'm irritated to the point of rage! This is something I will never buy again.
The majority of the chips in the bottom of the dishes were very small, but one chip was large and noticeable, indicating that quality control is clearly lacking. If you use them in this condition, the baking dish may explode.
The third time, it blew up in our oven completely. There have been numerous reports of these doing the same thing. These should not be purchased.
For the first time, I used the 7x11 pan, and it exploded after less than 10 minutes in the oven. It's been great to have such a large size. There must have been a flaw in the manufacturing process.
After reading all of the reviews, I concluded that the breaking issues were caused by failure to pre-heat the oven or other operator errors. I WAS WRONG IN MY EXPECTATIONS. My glasses had visible flaws in them when I received them. Swirls and lines appeared on them, almost as if they had been applied to something while the glass was still soft. I returned them and purchased them from a box store so that I could inspect them for flaws and defects.
After only two uses in the oven, this completely shattered. I cut my hand while cleaning out the oven, and there are probably still small pieces of glass inside. This is unacceptably bad. A recall is required for this item.
It's incredible. I've worked in the glass industry for nearly 30 years. These are not working properly. The larger items have cracked in the bottom, some as a result of the glass being shaped, and others as a result of a fissure or Runner within the structure itself. Someone at the factory saw this and made the deliberate decision to ignore it, which is why you see so many other negative reviews about the dishes cracking and breaking when heated in the oven or dishwasher. This is an extremely poor product. Hold them up to the light and look at the bottom carefully if you decide to buy them.
I just finished making lasagna. It was placed in the largest of these deep baking dishes and baked for 10 minutes at 350 degrees (it was not on broil - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. The baking dish was completely cracked. shattered into many pieces, turning my lasagna into a slimy, dripping, burning mess on the bottom of my oven, with glass shards all over the place! How did this happen when I had used it at least four times before in the oven at 350 degrees or less and it shattered this time - emitted an explosive sound This is a product you should not purchase.
