There is an option to shorten the blinds. However, I would look for a different seller to purchase from. There is horrible customer service at Brylane Homes and the blinds are used and defective. When I ever need blinds again I will not purchase them from Brylane Homes since it caused me so much annoyance and frustration. It is not likely you will receive a replacement if the blind you received was defective. The company also refuses to cover the shipping costs of returns. While I patiently waited for this company to receive defective blinds and process them before I was refunded, I had to get Amazon involved several times to receive a return label and to put more money into my account to order a new blind. You can consider the blinds very nice if you do not receive a damaged or defective blind from FedEx and it takes one week, half a week to two weeks to receive the blind from that company.
In this case, there's no cord connecting the blinds. You can open or close the blinds with your hands.

The mounting system is more complicated My satisfaction with these is not that great. With the cordless movement and rod for flipping, the mechanics are solid, however it isn't as warm as it ought to be and the color does not blend in. My recent experience with fake wood has revealed the poorest attempt at wood grain style. There is no way to see it from any distance, so I cannot understand the purpose of even placing it there. My fear is that the strings running throughout the blinds will wear and snap within a year, as they seem thinner than any other pair of blinds we currently have in our home. In the picture, you can see the part that's A pair of them should be present. Also, the parts box was torn apart by the person who had my "new" blinds before me and wrote on it. As for the mounting system, I am not that fond of it. It requires more hardware to mount, is not as reliable or strong, and it's not as easy to use as the first one. As a matter of fact. This may be a bit more difficult than the normal end caps that most blind manufacturers offer. Overall they were able to go up and The thin strings and the thin mounting brackets worry me because I fear they will not hold the strings in place long.

As soon as I unpacked my blind and inspected it I noticed the color is not so oak but more of a dark yellow brown, also these are supposed to be fake wood blinds but are smooth with no wood grain impression which defeats the purpose of being a faux wood blind. Product seems to be built well, but I will have to see how it works when I finally use it , and if you are looking for a product that is advertised as faux wood , then I do not recommend it, as it is not what it is advertised to be.

A good blind that integrates with the window frame, wireless, but for those who are short in height, maybe not. All right, a nice blind that blends in with the window frame, wireless, but it depends on the height of the window.

It started with the wheels being cut too short, the turn handles that intended to adjust the shade were broken, and the rims were.

There is nothing to worry about. The one complaint I have is that I don't think the length can be shortened.

In addition to that, they offer privacy as the top opens a bit more while the bottom remains sufficiently private.

One of the blinds is unlevel at the top, and there is no way to fix it.
