Questions & Answers

What is the maximum width - Is it 1/2 inch or 1 inch rods, for example?

They are 3/4" X 3/8" in size and should be used in a 1 1/2" pocket. Thank you very much for your inquiry.

Is it possible to use these on metal doors, or are magnetic versions better?

They've come in handy on a few metal doors. There will be no issues.

How far does this sit off the window if I use it as a curtain on my glass from doors?

The rods are about a third of an inch away from the window. As a result, when the curtain is on the rod, it appears to be flush against the glass. So, if that's the look you're going for, it'll do the trick. This is not the product to use if you want a gap between the curtain and the door or if you want glass from a side angle.

Two clear pieces, two sash rods, and four metal mounting brackets were delivered to me: What are the clear pieces for, exactly? They're too flimsy to keep slippage at bay. ?

The small rectangular clear pieces are designed to slide over the overlapping ends of the two rod pieces to keep curtain fabric from catching on them.

Install these with caution
4/5

These were very simple to put in. If you want the best results, make sure your measurements are exact. If you're not careful, the sliding rods can (and will) take off the tip of your finger if you're not careful. You'll pull, it'll resist, and then you'll pull it off with the tip of your finger. It's all quite traumatic, so it's best to get your screams out of the way first. in case something goes wrong br>br>I would have taken a picture of the rod's damage to my finger, but the wound would have been hidden by the blood.

Installing it was a breeze
5/5

I was a little concerned after hearing that there were no instructions. Instructions were not required in my opinion. On my front door, this rod system was ideal. It's a lovely result that's also very simple to achieve.

It works
3/5

The edges are angular. These curtain rods with a length of up to 28 inches were purchased for my 24 inch windows on my French doors. br>br>Froze br>br>Froze br>br>Froze br This is a very sturdy piece of steel with a fairly thick gauge. If you really want to bend them, you'll have to put in some effort, but they're much better than the cheap ones you'll find at Walmart, and the hardware brackets are also very sturdy. People were asking about the little plastic ring in the middle of the two pieces where they connect and slide to prevent snagging of materials on your drapes in some of the questionnaires. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. To shave off some of the sharp edges, I recommend getting a small fine tooth file. Because there are so many Spurs left on the metal, whoever cuts at the factory uses a very dull blade. So keep an eye on your hands! The screws, despite the fact that the hardware brackets are sturdy, are not. I can twist off the lid of a pickle jar with my bare hands now, but when I was younger, I couldn't. The heads of the screws bent or Twisted off after drilling the holes and then inserting them with a hand screwdriver. I ended up taking my own cruise from home, which was of higher quality than the cruises I had previously taken in the United States. I'd give it a three or four out of five star rating for the most part. There are only two in the box; I thought I had bought enough, but apparently I had not; I would buy it again only to match what I already have.

Sash rods of the highest quality are available
5/5

There are two of these available for purchase. That's excellent news. They're a little bigger than the Graber in terms of design. Graber and Kirsch both make excellent flat sash rods. They're simple to put together and far superior to thin round rods.

These are ideal, as are the plastic components
5/5

These are ideal because they are simple to install and do not show when the curtains are drawn. People have been inquiring about the plastic pieces, according to what I've read on the internet. The only thing I could think they'd be used for was to cover the ends of the metal rods to help guide them through the curtain, as they're a little sharp, and if you don't, they'll get caught on the fabric, which is another issue. In any case, that's what I did with them. I then removed them from the rod and tossed them in the recycling bin once the rod had passed through the curtain. I strongly advise it.

On the market, the best sash rod
5/5

I was about to return it when I realized I had made a mistake. Before I opened the box, I examined it and concluded that it would never expand to fit my door. I opened it just to see what it was like, and it's the best sash rod I've ever bought. It fits snugly against the door and has a lot of room for expansion while maintaining a high level of stability. I'll never buy another one after this. Ever.

Does the job, but be aware of the caveat (as well as how to use the plastic piece)
5/5

They appear to be of poor quality. They ARE inexpensive, to be sure. The point is that they hide your curtains by hanging them up. The curtains have been hung, and I am unable to see them. The mission has been completed. br>br>If they break under the weight of a half-pound curtain, I'll downgrade this to a one-star rating. br>br>WARNING: br>br> Consider purchasing higher-quality screws from a hardware store. Bring the ones that came with it and find a match for them. I managed to decapitate two of them by twisting their heads off. I'm not a particularly powerful individual. Just from screwing in 8 screws, I'm sweating profusely and will be sore the next day. Once I get new screws and my power drill arrive, I'll redo the hanging job. If I had used a power drill tonight, I'm sure all of the screws would have been shredded. Finally, here's a suggestion: br>br> The clear plastic piece (one for each) goes over the small end, then you slide it over to the larger end in the middle and fit it about halfway. It serves as a support, and the holes should be on opposite sides of the pieces. Then you can use screws or something to add extra support. It was driving me insane that there were no clear descriptions of this anywhere on the internet, and I had to use all of my mental resources to figure it out.

The system is nice, but the screws are terrible
3/5

This panel curtain set-up appeals to me; it is well-designed. The issue is with the mounting hardware that comes with the package. 20 of wood screws included to attach the brackets to the door where cheap crap and tightening heads twisted off while used on a pine door We replaced them and continued to use them because the design is good and functional.
