These were the most inexpensive and had the best reviews compared to other options on Amazon. I researched various options and chose these based on price and reviews. The ones I have so far used to hang polyester curtains from top shelves of I have found them to be easy to use, they look nice, and so far, they're holding up. How can the problem be resolved? There is a plastic collar where the spring connects to the ring if you look at my picture It comes out loaded with an extendable section. To pull out the rod, you twist it so that it extends into the space to hold it in place while you extend the rod. A problem with the plastic collar is that the grommets in the collar get stuck at the collar, so you are unable to open or close the curtain freely. The collar completely blocks the grommet from moving to the left if the rod is attached so that the extended section is pointing straight forward. I cannot slide the curtain even an inch from right to left when the rod is positioned so that the extended section is pointing to the right. Thanks to the slide mechanism on the left side of the curtain, it can be moved from left to right. The collar should be at least a few inches off the ground There is an issue with sliding the curtain on the right side from left to right. I will occasionally have to move the curtain from left to right, so it isn't a deal breaker, but it makes things a little awkward. The price was good despite this, and I would have purchased another brand if I had foreseen this would happen. Otherwise, these are working beautifully so far, and the sturdiness of them is a major plus. The manufacturer should either smooth out the collar or remove it altogether if the collar is ugly.

I know you hate to cry but what can you do when your baby isn't sleeping and you can't sleep either? You can buy these spring loaded curtain rods that are extremely easy to use. As a result, if you plan to create a blackout wonderland in your room, you have to realize that light will sometimes enter your room, since the rod won't be mounted over the window, but on the window instead. There are no problems with strength or durability with these suckers, they have never come off of the window as yet. The spring loaded power might cause them to take an eye out with that much power. Blackout curtains of any weight can be hung on them - they are strong enough to hold nearly anything It certainly was a great value for the can't say that these rods will make your baby sleep, but they will make you feel like you did something to make your baby sleep, and sometimes that's just as important. I'm a sleep deprived mom once again, so please accept my big hugs. There is nothing to worry about. They will serve you well if you purchase these curtain rods.

For what I wanted them to be used for, these are perfect I am installing vertical blinds and insulated curtains on the windows of my apartment. I couldn't believe how easy it was to adjust the length and put it inside the frame without a hitch. The laundry room in my home has two rods & a rod hanger You can air dry clothes by hanging them in the doorway of the bath. The bags are sturdy and they're well made This holds a great deal of weight, which I did not expect. I love the fact that the ends of the curtains are not visible, but maybe my curtains are to blame.

When set properly, this is a very My preference is to have this one fit firmly, and the spring is strong enough It's common for blackout curtains to be heavy, but the rods withstand this weight with ease. If you want wispy lace curtains, you can adjust it softer. They are the least expensive brand that I saw, and they are an excellent, high-quality tension rod. I would buy these instead of any other brand.

In the past, I have used them to hang light filtering curtains behind my regular curtains and they have worked perfectly without falling out of the window (as I have had happen more than once).

You can use two rods of small length in your laundry room, one on each side of cabinets above the washing machine and one beside it. Tank tops, camisoles, delicates, or other light weight items like these work well to air dry. It is great to have an additional 36 inches of vertical space. For the price point, this is a great deal.

During the winter, I intend to hang these curtains in my hallway to keep drafts at bay. They have demonstrated that they are doing a great job despite the tension. It is also a great price.
