In fact, yes.
I think the cap would measure about 1 1/4 inches. As the ends are rubber, there shouldn't be any indentation left behind.
Two people could probably fit in it The tension would have to be tight enough to hold 3 pounds, but that is only an estimation.

Due to the fact that they were returned, I cannot comment on the quality. Returning these items is a result of the obvious fact that they aren't a true "white", despite the packaging stating "white". Rather than being a light cream, they are darker. You will not find these to be suitable if you want a pure white rod, as I did. Check out the picture I attached with On top of the rod, I put a sheet of white paper and then a rod on a chair in my living room. The rod isn't white as you can see. That should be considered when considering the color of the rod. You might not be able to use these if you wish to use.
There are some differences between the picture and the real thing I was surprised to receive them looking more like bath rods than curtain rods when I received them This is a heavy, substantial bag. Rather than messing around with window hardware after moving into a new house with all inset windows, I chose to use tension rods everywhere. However, they are very fat and do not work well. It was alot of sheers that I hung Normally these sheers do not fit a regular top pocket of a curtain, but I was able to resolve this problem by hanging the sheers upside down and then putting the curtain I will be the only one who notices.
Our panel came from Target, but we didn't want to spend a lot on a tension rod, so we got an expensive one on Amazon that collapsed after only a few uses and could not While the one I'm using is a little similar to the curtain rod in the bathroom. It's perfect for what we need and is very easy to use. The rod is hidden behind a piece of wood once it's up, so you can't see it at all once it's up. You can't go wrong with this purchase, as it is reasonably priced. The pros are The cons of this product include * Sturdy and strong * Good grip* Ease of expansion , not a lot of turns * Great price * * Cons There are none that come to mind.
I put it up with my husband's help easily (since he is taller). It was only a slight problem because I used it as a curtain valence, not drapes, so I had to take out one row of stitching from the rod pocket to allow for the diameter of the curtain. There was no way to fit the rod pocket with the ones that would have fit. Ideally, it would be right for curtains or drapes with grommets, but make sure the rod pocket diameter is large enough. In the first picture, one can see the valence that hangs over At the top, there are no ruffles that can be seen. On the second picture you can see the same set of curtains at a side window along a narrower rod. This picture shows how ruffles are supposed to be, on that set of curtains. In order to avoid having to put brackets on the window frame, it was worthwhile giving up the ruffle.
This is just what we needed for floor-length heavy curtains in the entryway, to help keep heat in during harsh winter weather. The tension rod has to be walked through daily, and the curtains are pushed aside and walked through multiple times per day.
It has been a long time since I used a tension rod. This tension rod is one of the best I have ever used. After reading so many reviews that said tension rods wouldn't work, I was hesitant to use one. However, I have this hanging over my kids' closet as a sort of door and they haven't been able to bring it down yet. I am really happy with the results!.
As a temporary place to hang clothes after coming out of the dryer, I used it in a laundry room in a condo. My needs were met and it was able to hold 8 to 10 items of clothing hanging on it without a problem. Excellent value for the money.
It is near impossible to hang a regular curtain rod because the windows are recessed into the concrete. A conventional curtain rod on the wall would cause the curtains to leave a large gap between them, so light would be able to pierce In addition to being able to position this rod within window frames, it can also be used right against windows. A single beam of light can't be seen! Neither the concrete nor the hardscape were damaged. The site stays up pretty well, and it hasn't crashed down yet in the 2 months I have used Grommet curtains are best paired with this curtain.
