Christian Flensted's 1956 Flensted mobile was one of the first mobiles he designed. With five white swans, this mobile symbolizes the nations of Scandinavia in an elegant and beautiful way.

Questions & Answers

The size of the swans in terms of their overall dimensions is Can you tell me how tall you are, how wide, and how long your wingspan is?

The dimensions are 5" wide and 5" high. Four inches are measured from the tip of the beak to the tail tip.

Does the delivery take a long time?

When I was told when it would arrive, I received it.

Is it possible for this to get twisted like a yo-yo if it always turns in one direction (say, because it's next to an air vent) It needs to be unplugged from the yo string Are you twisting?

It has never been a problem for me to get these mobiles twisted when there is moderate airflow There could be blowing air in your home and I would move your mobile to a more suitable place. These mobiles are well made but delicate, heavy air flow would eventually damage the structure.

What is the height of the ceiling where these mobiles hang? Are the clothes hanging from the cribside? There is nothing in the pictures that tells me. Please accept my sincere thanks! ?

A paper tab and a string are attached to the ceiling and you can tape them. The majority of the crib is made of string and paper, so I wouldn't recommend it over a crib. The baby might get entangled in the paper or get cut by the swans like a paper cut if it falls. I find it to be decorative and relaxing to look at.

It is delicate. The subtlety and beauty in this is so appealing. That little extra something just adds to the beauty of the You will receive it in a flat plastic envelope before you open it Having been assembled. The only thing I had to do was hang it with a hook from the ceiling where I wanted it. A lot of care and attention goes into this, it is made of a heavy weight paper, and it is While some might feel uncomfortable about the cost of something made of "paper," I thought it was reasonable for it to be an original piece of art. It is a splurge item, but I look forward to seeing it every day.

Regardless of the opening and closing of the door and the movement of people inside, the flock always seems to gently sway as it is being moved by the floor vent and the moving door. I will probably watch it again after watching the mobile several times. I have received several compliments on it as well. In my opinion, the birds are appropriate for an adult setting, and the wire and string add a sophisticated touch thanks to their neutral colors and minimalist design. It is pure artistry in motion with the Flensted Mobile. It could not be more perfect.

The perfect balance between simplicity and functionality

In a nutshell OK, I realize this is a Simple Thick Paper Mobile However, this is stunning simplicity at its finest. Even a slight movement of air caused by heaters or acetate or even music playing in the room is sufficient to gently move this beautiful mobile. I plan to hang it over my baby bed for my upcoming son. My heart happy, and I love this mobile and it's simplicity and sweetness!.

It was beautiful and First thing I thought when I opened the package was that it was too expensive. After I hung it, I changed my mind and think it was well worth the money. This is a graceful bird that flies with ease in the air. It might be my favorite mobile out of the ones I've owned over the years. One of the reviews reported that it was tangled when it was opened. In my experience, if you remove it from the packaging cleanly and slowly, there are no tangles. I only made a mistake when folding the flaps, the flaps were initially folded up instead of down, but it only took a few seconds for me to correct it. There were dotted lines on the page that made it easier. An interesting piece of trivia There was a brochure in the package describing how the mobiles are made by hand in people's homes, as they have been for generations. It was nice to see real people doing real things and not just a bit of it made in a factory It is a country of production.

This is quite a small thing

I was going to hang this in the babies room, but once you hang out of reach it's just too small to put up. After I opened the package, I destroyed it. My apologies for not returning it. This is because of the paper not being heavy enough. My experience with this purchase has been completely disappointing. There is a problem with ordering online because you can't see how it will look in real life, so you can't be sure it will look the same as a picture. I need to see it in person before ordering.

It is beautiful as ever, and their products are awesome! Nevertheless, I would like to make a suggestion. During the Swans' movement, the wires and string on my old one are longer, resulting in a more graceful arched pattern. The Swans were captivating With the new length, the movement still moves easily, but "the dance of Swans" that made it so special has been lost due to the shortened movement, which makes it less special and more like "just another mobile" than the "dance of Swans" it once.

Although the swans looked huge in the mobile, they were much smaller than I had thought. 1 of the 2 of them was returned and I ordered 2 of them. The picture is close to 3 beveled mirrors, which give it the impression there is an incredible number of swans on it. This is a beautiful setting.
