The crystal growth process was uneven and very sparse despite following directions very closely. Although there are still many fun projects that accompany the weaving, coloring, and decorating of the dream catcher.

It does not have the required number of strings! There were only 41 feet of string included in the kit

The directions state that you need 60 feet of string to complete the project. That's pretty poor quality for a kit to not provide the full amount of the main ingredient! I am disappointed.

A very tedious task A level of activity appropriate for adults

Children under the age of 13 are not recommended to take on this project due to its complexity and time commitment. There were only a few adults in the house who handled it. This is not something I recommend for children except for those with the highest level of patience.

It is best suited to 13+ students rather than 8+ students

Those under the age of 13 are not permitted to participate in this project. In order to weave the cloth, an adult had to assist - an 8 year old simply cannot do the task without A child of 8 is capable of painting and tying a ribbon.
