It was my first time purchasing, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a pleasant surprise to see the craftsmanship involved in this piece. The decoration is just stunning and I'm sure my granddaughter will love it for her room featuring mermaids. Although the starfish was glued together, there was a problem with one starfish coming loose which I reattached, but when I put it back in the box it came apart due to the placement being a You should make the box about 1/2 inch larger so that the starfish will not fall out. I would also like to ask for the "made in China" to be printed on the back of the box so the top can be used for other treasures without residue.

In my opinion, it should have been plastic and of poor quality for the price. It was too cheap for me to care, but I didn't mind it. When I opened the box, there was a metal ring dreamcatcher inside! It was so well crafted, I was so surprised! It's going to be great to hang it up with my daughter! Having just purchased this for my son's room, I am beyond happy with it, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to decorate their child's.

It is pretty sturdy and very pretty but as you can see from the pictures, the ribbons come off a little. However, it is easy to tighten them since they can be tightened very easily. One of the ribbons was coming apart, and I had to remove the loose strands from the rest of the ribbon. As a parent of grade school children, the ribbon will not be an issue because I have to purchase a matching one for it. In order to be transparent, I have included it.

I was expecting something else altogether. According to my receipt, I must have spent at least $40 on that item. Her room has a mermaid theme, making it a perfect fit for her. She might cherish it for the rest of her life. It will last that long if the quality is good. Moreover, it comes in a very pretty box, which would also make it a great gift.
