The collar you are asking for is not the same size as the bag that comes with the ashes, but I had a 9 pound Chihuahua and his ashes fit perfectly into the bag. I have been searching for something special for my dog's keepsakes after he unexpectedly passed away.
My little golden Koda ash container was the perfect little vessel to contain a little bit of ashes from our golden dog. The fact that they had a piece of him to treasure in their own home was a pleasure for our daughters. Taking care of the ashes, I used a small plastic bag (like those used for My dog's name was added to the inside of the bag just above the print and it fit perfectly.
That is a beautiful box, I really like it. The framed picture is in memory of my beloved dog, a 17-year-old yellow lab cross, and I had to have it so I could store some of her mementos. It was disappointing to see that the pup on the box didn't look like the one pictured, and was a dirty brown instead of the yellow I had hoped for and had seen in the picture.
My pleasure is that this box is incredibly beautiful, and I am so pleased with my purchase. As of June 3, 2015, I had to put my sweet little dog down for euthanasia, and my grief is still very raw. The box somehow makes it all seem better and I'm thinking of putting some of my little guy's pet hair in it instead of ashes because I think they might be a bit large for I am using the shelf as part of my Memorial shelf for my little dog. It is the perfect size. While grieving, I have been trying to keep busy so that it isn't consuming, and I ordered a stone to place by the flower garden that I planted especially As for the weight of the box, I must say that it is very heavy. Despite its cheap appearance, it is far from it. Susan Lordi has created wonderful designs, and we are grateful to her. There is nothing you can do to make this box mean more to me than it already does.
