As soon as they came across these useless, decorative book end (that keep falling over on their own), they were thrown away. It was necessary for the replacements to be small, with a low-profile design It would be good to be able to see the materials they held up with a profile design. These bookends don't look garish or ridiculous because they feature a flat design. Having these curved corners and softer edges means you're less likely to accidentally scratch yourself when reaching for a book, or to catch your book on a corner as you put it away or take it out.
