No, please do not remove the cover; it will cause the clock to be damaged.
Taking the glass off is not a good idea. I've never heard of that, but if the clock is covered, the inside won't get dirty in the first place. To clean the outside of the windows, I sprayed windex on them.
With regular batteries, I believe I've had my clock for about 6 months. There will be no issues. I like the big s because it helps me keep track of time.
The hands do not glow in any way. Our clock was damaged when it arrived, so we simply returned it for a refund, which was processed quickly.

One of them has a flaw that causes time to slow down (update 8/4/2017). I purchased two of these clocks, and one of them is defective. I assumed the battery had died because the time had suddenly stopped, but closer inspection revealed that the second hand is stuck hitting the minute hand, which is due to the minute hand's slight curved/angled upwards angle, which prevents the second hand from passing. Time stands still as a result of this problem. br>br>Because the other clock is in perfect working order, I'm going to try to contact the seller and see if I can have this defective one replaced. When I hear back from the seller, I'll update my review and rating. br>br>Update 7/31/2017br>================================================================================================== She apologized for the broken clock and assured me that a replacement would be sent to me right away, and that I would not be required to return the broken clock. br>br>She also recommended that I open the defective clock's case and bend the minute hand back so that it does not collide with the second hand. I decided to take her advice and did so. I took out the four screws on the back of the clock, removed the glass, bent and pushed the minute hand down, reassembled the case and glass, and installed the battery. So far, everything has gone smoothly. As the minute hand passes by, I notice that the second hand has moved away from the minute hand. br>br>I'm going to raise my rating from 3 to 4 because of their excellent customer service. from 1 to 5 stars stars. I'll give you another update once I get my replacement. br>br>Update 8/4/2017br>=============================================================================================== I now own three of these clocks (all of which are blue), and they're all in excellent working order. I like how quiet they are, how smoothly the second hand moves, how the font style and size of the numbers (even how the numbers are raised a bit) blend in with any room, and how the blue color goes with everything. One of the best aspects of the clock is the Customer Support, which was very friendly, professional, and prompt in assisting me. After contacting the seller about a problem with one of the clocks, I received a replacement clock in three days. In the future, I would definitely order from them.
These clocks are ideal because they are completely silent, accurate, and simple to read, allowing even the shortest glance to communicate the time. To synchronize the clocks, gently move the hands into place on one of the wall clocks, keep an eye on your computer or phone clock, and pop the battery into the back of the wall clock at the precise moment to match the time. These two clocks have been in my possession for a few months and are still in sync and keeping accurate time. Best of all, I can only hear them if I stand very close to them, too close to read them — and this is despite the fact that I have super-sensitive hearing. musician who is sensitive- ears.
I've only had this clock for a few days, but I've synced it with my Apple Watch and it's been accurate to the "second" so far. The clock I bought before this one from "Bernhard Products" was not only 2 minutes off on the first day, but it also hung up and stopped working. As long as DreamSky clocks remain this accurate, I would strongly recommend them to anyone. If that isn't the case, I'll make a change to this review. The clock has a nice face with raised letters and doesn't make any noise. br>br>Update to previous review: For the price I paid, I can't believe this clock! It's been 19 days since I started using it, and it's still on time "to the second" with my Apple watch. I would give this clock ten stars if I could, and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable timepiece to stay on track.
This is the only pink, noiseless click I could find, but it'll do! I can read it in low light while she sleeps (as shown in the photo). In the nursery, it looks fantastic. Ticking is not an issue. And now, whenever she wakes me up in the middle of the night, I know exactly what time it is.
And, best of all, when the sweep hand moves from one second to the next, the house does not vibrate! It doesn't make a peep at all- WOO HOO!.
Pro 1: br>br>Pro 2: This clock has a nice, clean appearance and is reasonably priced. br>br> It is silent and non-aggressive, just as it claims to be. ticking. The seconds hand does not "jump" every second like the minutes hand does. Instead, it rotates in a smooth motion. br>br>Con: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place 1 (insignificant): The battery compartment is extremely small and difficult to get into. Because I had to use quite a bit of force to get the battery in, I could see chips on the battery edges after I removed it. br>br>Con 2 (THE MOST IMPORTANT): The clock became stuck shortly after the battery was installed. The time becomes stuck when the seconds hand collides with the minutes hand. I was able to undo some of the damage that had been done to me. By tilting the clock in the right direction and tapping gently, I was able to jam it, but it jammed again shortly after with the same issue. See the video for more information. br>br>Given that my previous clock lasted over 15 years before slowing down, even with new batteries, I'm disappointed that this brand new clock failed mechanically so quickly.
The second hand is still not ticking, but the mechanism is now ticking. I purchased this on November 12th, 2019, so it will begin to break down in about a year. Bummer! This is no longer something I recommend. Exactly what I needed! br>br> My old clock made extremely loud ticking noises, which drove me insane; I had no idea how a silent clock worked, but the second hand on this one simply glides around the clock without making any ticking noises. br>br>It's also very easy to read because of the design. The large numbers stand out against the white background nicely. It appeals to me.
