For the price, it's a great gift

This would make a wonderful present for someone. It should work in theory, but there are a few minor details that raise doubts. The compass's legs are bowed, and the felt inside the box is scratched up. To go inside the box, I ordered a stick on brass plate to go with my gift. On display, it appears to be quite lovely.

I bought this as a symolic keep sake for a young man who graduated. It's very nice and looks EXSPENSIVE really pretty. I want one now. It does the job, but I wish they had a brass engravable name plate for a more personal touch. However, I am very pleased with my purchase. 😊.
