I'm not sure, but I think I'll have to get a scale to weigh the cone. It is preferable that you purchase a new clock. For the right clock, it must be a precise weight. The one I bought was made in Germany, and it was neither too high nor too low in price, and it was adequate for my home decor.

Our pendulum leaf is 2 1/2" long, according to my measurements.

At the same time, I bought two cuckoo clocks, one Chinese and the other River City. By a long shot, the River City clock is superior. Despite the fact that the number is only five, 0 x 9. It's the perfect size for our space at 0 inches. Being half German and wanting a cuckcoo clock for a long time, I was ecstatic when it arrived; however, the clock had issues, so rather than returning it for a refund, I followed the instructions in the literature and emailed River City directly. During this Covid-related situation, Mark was a great supporter of mine. 19 emergency and sent the parts for a two-minute repair at no cost. River City and their fantastic cuckoo clocks come highly recommended by me.
I'm glad I purchased three of these clocks as Christmas presents. We decided that cuckoo clocks would be a good way for our children to remember their parents. We're already thought to be insane. We can leave the cuckoo on all the time because it is not obnoxious. It may take a few days to get the maple leaf slide perfectly aligned in order to keep accurate time. The quality of work is superb. It's a one-time deal. the time is now Hang it somewhere you'll see it every day so you'll remember to wind it up. To mount it on the wall, use an "anchor. " Because the clock's winding chain hangs down quite far, it must be mounted on a wall at a height of 6 1/2 feet. The wood is rich and warm, and it's finished in a rustic, fireside style. The clock only takes a few minutes to put together and isn't difficult to do. You will not be disappointed in your purchase of this clock, and you will enjoy it for many years to come.
My 80-year-old mother once told me that a cuckoo clock had always been her dream. So this is the one I got her, and it's fantastic. She adores it, and it makes everyone's day better. This is an excellent purchase. br>br>It has a nice appearance, a solid feel to it, and is well constructed. The outside is entirely made of wood, with the exception of the clock face, which is still attractive. The weights are made of brass and are quite large. There are no batteries or motors in the clock. br>br> As the pendulum swings, it makes a soft click that is just loud enough to let you know the clock is running but not so loud that it disturbs you. On the hour and half-hour, the cuckoo chirps. It's surprisingly loud, but not shrill, so it won't startle anyone who was dozing off. It's a truly charming and wonderful thing. br>br>.
I'm having trouble adjusting it to make it faster or slower, but I'm confident that by adjusting the weight on the pendulum, I'll be able to figure it out. The hour is announced by the cuckoo, and the half-hour is announced by the cuckoo chirping once. A cuckoo clock, in my opinion, is a lovely way to personalize a space. This clock has never worked properly. br>br>Revised 12/6/2017 All of the instructions were followed exactly. I reached out to the seller, who advised me to contact Amazon. A two-year guarantee is advertised on the clock. I received $66 from Amazon to repair the clock. It was $100 to purchase it. It hasn't changed. Don't buy this clock, in my opinion. It has never worked properly and has only given me headaches.
😀😊. The money spent on this coocoo clock was well spent. I've been looking for something similar to my grandmother's for a long time, and this one is it. It keeps perfect time, and there were no broken pieces in the packaging. It fit snugly in the box, as if it were a rug. It went together quickly. This clock is incredible, and I can't say enough about it.
When I opened it up to inspect it, I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the woodwork. It keeps excellent time and has the cuckoo chime you'd expect; it's a genuine high-quality item. br>The only thing I would advise someone to do is purchase the 8-day movement if they can afford it. However, given the price difference, I am very pleased with this clock.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. The accuracy can be changed by adjusting the pendulum. Despite the fact that the constant chirping will drive some members of your family insane. When they come to visit, you can turn off the noise, but that defeats the device's entire purpose; whether it's worth the $170 is up to you. br>br>I suppose if you're going to buy a cuckoo clock to keep and pass down as an heirloom, you should buy a real one rather than a cheap battery-operated one. br>br>Seems to be extremely well constructed. There hasn't been a single time when it hasn't worked out. If you don't hang it on a sturdy nail that's attached to a stud, the whole thing will probably fall to the ground. It's a lot more substantial than it appears to be.
My clock is one of my favorites. It resembles the one that belonged to my grandmother. br>br>The German stamp is on the brass clock. The color and carvings on the wood are stunning. br>br>USE A LEVEL TO MAKE SURE IT IS HANGING STRAIGHT IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT NOT RUNNING. Mine had stopped working, and it was aggravating to discover that it had stopped working once more. It wasn't flush with the wall and was slightly crooked, as I noticed. It now works perfectly after I lined it up and placed a piece of folded paper between the clock and the wall at the bottom to prevent it from tilting forward when I reset the weights. br>br>Wishing you a good time with your clock!.
