Questions & Answers
This weight is only required to overcome the internal friction of the working parts and allow the pendulum to continue swinging, so it should suffice. Since all of these clocks are now 2-years-old, you'll have more trouble keeping the internal mechanism clean and from jamming. (at least) three decades old
For an 8-day clock, this is the proper weight. Mine, at the very least, was successful.
The chain, unfortunately, isn't included.
It's only a single pound.

"Pine cone" weights are used in three of my clocks. The replacement is a close match in terms of size and shape. My original weights all have bronze highlights, but the replacement's highlights are much more extensive, resulting in a noticeable visual difference. Unless you plan to use your replacement in conjunction with weights that have a lot of bronze highlighting, you should replace all of the weights on your clock to avoid a visual disparity. The replacement weights also lacked the crispness and clarity of the originals, indicating that the replacement mold was of lower quality. The item arrived on time or earlier than expected.
I found exactly what I needed. At an estate sale, I found a Cuckoo clock with weights that were far too heavy for it. These were a good deal because the clock shop was charging $35 per weight.
We had misplaced the original cuckoo clock weights during a move, so we ordered these, which are nearly identical to the originals except for the texture, which is not as finely detailed. If you're replacing weights, consider getting three of them so that they'll all be the same size. Thank you very much for coming to my aid.
For my clock, it was exactly what I needed.
It was identical to the rest of the choo-choo-choo-choo-choo-choo-choo The clock is a choo clock, and it works perfectly.
It's a Brass Pine Cone arrived quickly and was the last piece needed to get my son's clock working again after 12 years in the closet.
When the weight of my clock was misplaced, I assumed I'd have to order a replacement from Germany. Fortunately, it fit my clock perfectly. It's identical to the other in every way! Thanks!.
