Sharp Digital Alarm Clock with Easy to Read Large Numbers and Swivel Base

Negative reviews aren't pleasant to leave, but there are some things that keep me from giving a positive review. This is exactly what I bought for both of my kids (each exact same as the other). A high pitched electric whine could be heard from the alarm speaker when it was plugged in, but it was faint and short lived. When brightness and volume were adjusted, the pitch would change, but it still sounded horrible and my kids couldn't referring to the actual sound of the I could hear this high-pitched noise that sounded very much like ringing in my ears 100% of the time. It happened I did not get a lot of sleep that night and told them it was difficult to get It was quite warm to the touch as I took them out of the socket and unplugged them. Leaving these things in my kids' bedroom is not a risk I am willing to take. They look nice, they are easy to use, they have a large display, so it's very disappointing. Nevertheless, they give off a high pitch whine and generate heat that upsets me. It must have been a bad batch of resistors in the manufacturing process. Because I threw the boxes away, I can't return them, and I can live with that, since if I return them it will be my fault.

As soon as I plugged it in, a faint buzz or hum could be heard. There was a sound in the hallway when I was in a quiet room. In order not to wait to see if the clock or electrical plug gets hot, I got rid of them. Except for that, it would have been nice to have a clock.

An LCD display with large, bright numbers was all I required. The clock on this wall does exactly However, you shouldn't expect any more than that. Aside from the fact that it is very poorly constructed, and the buttons (for alarm sound and brightness) are difficult to operate. With any amount of use, most of the buttons are likely to break. Moreover, when setting the alarm volume slider from low to high, the clock emits a high-pitched tone until the volume is changed back to low. The alarm set-up at a loud volume creates a high-pitched whine. Such a loud volume is usually not appropriate for an alarm. I am not bothered by this, though it gives a hint at just how cheaply the product was designed and produced. There is a good chance that it will last for a year before breaking. The return is not worth the effort. My hard-earned money has been wasted yet again on Chinese products.

At the nursing home, my mom needed a clock that was easy to read and didn't have any fancy features. The numbers here are large and bright, which makes it easy to read, although the size may be small. This clock has been keeping accurate time for about two weeks and is extremely easy to set up. I tried to reset it, but the numbers would not come back without light, and when they are not lit you can't see them at all. I purchased two of them and both experienced the same high-pitched noise In other reviews, there has been a constant pitched noise. In a quiet room, this product is intolerable due to the noise it makes. It will not disappear over time. Please see other reviews on this topic. This may not be the fault of the product it is a manufacturing defect.

I should have read the reviews before I purchased it, but I figured it was just an alarm clock. Even though I have a constant ringing in my ears (tinnitus) already, I am able to hear the high pitched noise created by this device when turned down. To try to sleep while it whines is way too annoying. Bright setting does not produce as loud of a noise, but the dimly lit bedroom is too intense for the bright setting. Make sure you read the fine print before making a purchase.

When I woke up in the middle of the night and found myself trying to look at my old clock, I bought this gadget. The end of the era- When I wake up at 3 in the morning, I can definitely tell what time it is With confidence, I am 35 AM. Even with my lights on, I use it on the lower brightness setting which is plenty bright. Unlike a night light, it does not illuminate the whole room. does have alarm clock functions but they are simple and not a good choice if you really need that. This is a good design for a good price. ( I looked for a red display since "They" say red or warm colors are less likely to disturb you while you It is only clear to me that a red light in my rear view mirror is less distracting than a blue one.
