The Owner's Manual is a small leaflet with one flaw: it instructs the owner to set the time by holding the Time button "Long time" and then using the up and down arrows to reach the desired hour and minute. Then you realize there are no up and down arrows to be found. If you have good lighting, you'll notice that these marks are etched into two of the clock's back buttons after a short while. These are difficult to see because they're on buttons that have other functions besides up/down. It's unclear how to transition from setting the hour to setting the minutes. These are all flaws in the written description, not the product, and the manufacturer should, in my opinion, rewrite the leaflet, perhaps with the assistance of someone who speaks English as a first language. After you've set the time correctly, you'll have a stylish clock that fits in almost any room.
Huge numbers that are easy to read from across the room or first thing in the morning. The ability to adjust the brightness and alarm level using sliders is fantastic. The only thing I didn't like (that can be fixed) was that the alarm on/off button was on the back, next to other buttons of similar size. To turn off the alarm in the morning, I had to flip the clock over to make sure I didn't press any other buttons. I purchased and painstakingly glued an 8-inch by 8-inch canvas. That button now has a 1/4" x 1/4" aluminum spacer (H Depot) on it, making it much easier to turn the alarm on and off without looking. (See image) Perfecto and a touch of black paint.
Bonus: dimmer! I plugged it in when it arrived in the mail, but the screen would not turn on. I was disappointed, but thankfully, they include a little card with the clock with instructions on how to contact them if there are any problems. It was quick and easy to report the problem, and they quickly sent me a replacement, which arrived super quickly and works perfectly! I can't speak for the alarm because I use my iPhone for that, but the dimmer is fantastic! It doesn't light up my room at night on the lowest setting, which has been a problem with other clocks for me. However, with the lights turned on in the room, it isn't too dim. In addition, setting up the clock is a breeze. It's sleek and compact, and it looks good on the nightstand, which is a plus because I didn't want it to be an eyesore or take up too much room. When the lights are turned on, the photo is taken at its darkest setting.
For a long time, I had a dual alarm clock with a display that wasn't too bright to wake me up and alarms that were moderately easy to set. As a result, it had no choice but to be eliminated. Then I came across this. br>br> I assumed it was too cheap to be of any use, but I was mistaken. It's relatively simple to set the alarm (though it still uses long button presses, which are bad from a design standpoint, and multifunction buttons, which vendors use when profits come before customer convenience). Above all, the display can be dimmed to near darkness. Finally, I'm able to get some shut-eye! It even has a USB port for charging small electronic devices such as Fitbits and iPhones (but not iPads). The only real flaw is the large Snooze button on top of the unit; the alarm cutoff or two large buttons, one for Snooze and the other for stopping the alarm, would have been preferable.
I haven't used a traditional alarm clock in years. However, in order to overcome my habit of checking my phone right before bedtime, I decided to purchase an alarm clock. This way, I won't have an excuse to bring my phone into the bedroom every night. I needed something that would be dependable, affordable, and simple to operate. This alarm clock is exactly what you're looking for. The volume and brightness of the clock can be adjusted using two sliders on the back of the clock. There are also four buttons on the back that allow you to change the clock format from 12 to 24 hours and adjust the time. This clock has performed admirably in its first few weeks of use. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to break the habit of using their phone as an alarm clock.
I like how compact it is and how it has a dimmer. I bought this product because it has a phone charger. When I tried to tick it, it didn't work. br>Recent changes: br> I just got a nasty email from the seller accusing me of "not reading the product description. " I had no idea what you were talking about. I had nothing but good things to say about the situation; I was just disappointed that the phone charger port had failed. This is the first time a seller has attacked me while reviewing a product!.
I'm completely oblivious to the time. To resolve this issue, I desired a digital clock. Most of the clocks I've owned in the past were far too bright, and I try to keep the amount of light in my room to a minimum in order to get the best sleep possible. Before deciding on this clock, I looked at a few others. I wanted a model that had a dimmer slider instead of settings so that I could fine-tune the brightness. Because a few reviews claimed that even the lowest setting on this clock was too bright for them, I bought a set of dimmer sheets just in case. br>br>I didn't need the dimmer sheets at all. If the light in my room is on, the display is almost unreadable because it's so dim - I set the slider to the absolute lowest level before it went completely dark, and it's perfect. When the lights are turned on, I'm awake and can check the time on my computer or phone; when the lights are turned off at night, the numbers glow just enough for me to read them from my bed, which is about 8 feet away from the clock shelf. My glow-in-the-darkness level is about the same as the glow-in-the-darkness level. the- It's a dark glass jellyfish, but it's not so bright that it disturbs my sleep. br>br>I'll have to wait and see how well it keeps track of time and if it continues to function properly, but in terms of brightness, it's exactly what I wanted.
