Questions & Answers
The candles are 3 inches in length. The floating candles, on the other hand, would fit in most 3 inch vases because they are slightly larger than 3" (the industry standard).
I used cylinder vases (7") and they should work fine. DollarTree has a 9" candle that fits perfectly. It was slightly smaller than the vase's mouth, allowing for some extra space. I believe two inches will be insufficient. They'll do the job, but there'll be a lot of space between the candle and the vase. IMO. It will appear to be too small. These 3 inch would be my choice.
No, if you hold these candles for a few minutes, they won't get hot.
B019YGT1FA is a candle with 24 candles (6 is a different variation that may be out of stock right now).

UPDATE! The company contacted me and inquired about the number of deformed items so that a partial refund could be issued. They appreciated the attention to detail because I had photos. Accidents happen, so I give them five stars for being proactive in customer service.
At 5 p. m. , we turned on the lights. They were still burning at 11 p. m. , despite the fact that it was 00 p. m. There's only half a candle left! I felt like I was floating the entire time, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat!.
Bought for my daughter's wedding, which is coming up soon - So far, the floating and burning ones have performed admirably. Burns evenly down the center, and the glow illuminates the water and contents below (in our case, submerged babies breath flowers) as it gets lower. Very delicate and lovely. So far, we've burned for 6 hours, with another hour or two on the horizon. We're testing our system/products in the photos below; there's a small submersible tea light at the bottom of the vase with glass gems, but we don't believe they're necessary. In case you're trying to make this craft, we used wire to secure the first bits of baby's breath to a heavy metal washer; we previously glued the tea light to the washer but aren't sure we need it. A lovely glow emanates from the floating candle!.
They were absolutely fantastic. I placed an order for a hundred. Each of them was ablaze for the duration of the evening. 6-hours per night 8-hour shift Because only about HALF of the candle burned when the wedding was over, they were packed up and sent back home to be used at a later date. amazing! I would give it a 10/10. Our special day would not have been complete without a whimsical touch.
We were planning a beach wedding and knew we'd need something durable. These floating candles were just what I needed. Before the wedding, I tested them at home and found that one candle lasted nearly 12 hours and that they stayed lit all night! They were also less expensive than floating candles we found elsewhere. These candles work beautifully as centerpiece candles or in glass vases filled with water and your favorite greens. They give off a lovely, personal vibe. Check to see if you have enough for a rainy day. Floating candles can be used in tall cylinders or short bowls, and the possibilities are endless as to what you can do with them. They won't last beyond a long evening of burning, so you'll want to replace them if you plan to keep your decorations for any length of time. These are lovely, white, and spotless. I have a collection of burning candles that add a touch of class to whatever I pair them with. For table centerpieces and entertaining, I always have a supply on hand.
These candles were lit for our centerpieces by my wedding planner shortly before the reception, which lasted about 4 hours. We had six tables, each with two candles, for a total of 12 candles. Two of them burned out quickly and were unable to be replaced. The other ten, however, remained lit throughout the reception (we're not sure if the melting wax coated the wick).
So far, I've been awake for eight hours. I got three of them, each measuring three inches in length. I initially thought it was too bulky compared to the 2" ones, but I now prefer the look of the 3" one in my large vase. So far, I've used four candles, with a burn time of seven minutes being the best. I discovered that how well you place the candle disc in the water affects the amount of time it takes to burn for 8 hours. Before you light the candle, let it settle in the water for a while so it's calm and level. That way, it will burn evenly and thus for a longer period of time (in my experience). Apart from the longevity, I enjoy the beauty that these flickering floating candles add to my kitchen counter while I work. In this rainy winter, it really brightens up my days.
