To be fair, I have only used one other similar product, but as compared to that, this candle burns cleaner and is more durable. Even though the product is more expensive, I appreciate that it is organic, and the significant cost difference is negligible in light of the amount of product I use. A slower burn with a more contained flame is also apparent with this wick, whereas the other product was very easy to take off, burning quite a bit.
