The blanket is the perfect weight to keep my son warm and calm throughout the day. The only thing I would like to mention is this. Because of the pattern, it wasn't possible to fit the T rex on the blanket. Because the pattern is horizontal, instead of vertical as shown in the photo, there wasn't enough space. It's just a heads up for all of you since my son is looking forward to the t-rex movie.
Under all of my parents' blankets/pillows on the bed I made a mess by digging under them. Considering it is weighted enough they feel like they have the pile on them, yet light enough a Chiweenie can carry it around and into her little bed, it does the job. My small dogs (mini Chihuahua and Dachschund) and I got one blanket for them. It looks like I may be buying a few more after all, seeing how much they like it.
