This is the ideal present! This blanket was purchased for a cancer-stricken family member. I put together a basket of goodies for her to use and enjoy while she was in the hospital for her treatments. She grabbed the blanket and unwrapped it as soon as she saw it, exclaiming that it was exactly what she needed because she gets cold frequently. OMG! But I bought it for myself. Someone else is under my blanket EVERY TIME I TURN AROUND! My three-year-old not only thinks this is his blanket, but he also enjoys learning the words. 'Hugs' is his go-to song. He's made a game out of asking me what each 'H' word means and then saying, "No, Mommie, that says HUGS!" Then he bursts out laughing like it's the funniest thing he's ever heard, before concluding with, "Oh my goodness!" HUGS isn't a word that comes to mind. "THIS IS HUGS," he says, pointing to each hugs word on the blanket and counting them! I absolutely adore it! br>br>Aside from that, YES! As I previously stated, MY blanket has been claimed by EVERYONE! I bought it because I'm going through a 'phase' where I'm either as hot as fire or as cold as an iceberg at any given time. Because of my 'flashes,' we've started to keep our house a little colder than usual, so when the moment comes to an end (usually during my sofa time), I like to curl up with a blanket I bought JUST FOR ME. I wanted to do something to cheer up my grandmother, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. This blanket was a gift from me to her, and she absolutely adored it!
