I used these to attach a bedskirt to the foundation without any problems. If they work for sofa cushions, they should work for you. You will be able to see the plastic head and feel it if you sit on the cushion. But the twist pins all look the same.
Taking a look at the leather, it would seem to be quite hard and thick. To me, this seems to be a very difficult task. As far as the pins that I have used are concerned, I would say no.
I don't intend to go into wood at all. If it's used on both the seat and back cushions, it will assist in keeping the cover intact.
It is unlikely you will be able to find these on Amazon. In addition to the spiral pin element, there is also a 6-sided screw part, which fits into existing padding or upholstery. Thank you for your help.

I found these pins to be very effective. As a result, my upholstery covers around the base of my furniture were held in place by these clips. It doesn't matter what you use them for they just screw into it. It's been over a year and I've never had a broken head, or one come apart from the others. Having used this product for a while, I am delighted with how it performed.
As a dust ruffle, I attached it to the box spring using twist pins (upholstery tacks). Make sure to pay attention to these as they are good and sharp. I have found them to be more secure than the ones I have used in the past.

Despite their simplicity, these pins have been effective in keeping our bed skirts from shifting over the past few months. The bed skirt and box spring are not damaged by them. They have now been used on every bed in our house since I purchased a package of 50. Using this tool will make your appearance more uniform and tidy!.
I picked up these twist pins at a crafts store, but they are much longer than the ones I bought there In the past, I used it. As you can see in the photo on the left is a pin. In order to protect the material of the chair where my husband's elbows rub, I'm attaching a thick potholder to it. Additionally, a chair pad is on top of it. Because they were not long enough, they were always coming undone. The new ones look great and are easy to use The pad should be held in place tightly. As well as holding chair arm protectors in place, they are great for holding chair covers in place.
As the armchair covers were falling off, I needed to find something that would keep them in place. My experience with this was easy. Having never used pins like this before, I did a lot of research, and one thing people were saying about other pins like this is the pin screw was not long enough and held poorly. are long and have long pin screws. They are really strong and hold firmly. My favorite part of these pins is the design.
Having read this type of pin would be the best solution, I purchased it. A quick search of other pins like this and their reviews revealed common complaints they were hard to insert (wrong angle, not sharp enough), bent while trying to screw them in, or the heads broke off (not strong enough, too thin metal, etc), or they would not stay in. Reading the reviews of these pins, I came across them. These pins are not affected by any of the factors above. Here we are. In order to work with fabrics, I recommend not forcing the pins into the fabric, but rather letting the pin do the work itself. This is certainly going to happen. If you are working with really dense fabric deeper down, you might want a textured disposable latex (or similar) glove to apply traction on the pin head as you twist. They stay in place as you work. It is fine to place a cushion just above if you can't remove one. As long as you do not have them in your line of vision, they are inconspicuous. I used three on the inside flaps of the chair arm protectors and the remote holders, and they are invisible unless you are looking The chairs have been in place without being moved over the past month. Both are reclining chairs with plenty What you need to buy are these pins.
