I think it said it was washable in the description. On the bottom, there is a zipper. In my beach cottage, I'm using it on a queen-size bed, and it's fantastic!

My husband used to sleep with the majority of our pillows pushed to the floor behind the headboard. The bed stays put now that this beauty has been added to the mix, and there are no more pillows on the floor! The color is appealing, and the fabric is durable but not particularly soft. You'll want to buy a different fabric if you're looking for something soft. We plan to buy a second one for our guest room, as well as a smaller version for our couch.

I also have a corduroy headboard pillow from the same company, and I believe it comes down to personal preference. Although the courduroy headboards they sell are thicker and more comfortable, not everyone prefers courduroy, and this material has a slightly nicer feel to it.
