While it would be better suited as a side sleeper, you could still sleep on it with both legs. There are nine inches between the height of the pillow's sides and the height of the part where your legs rest. In the front of the pillow, 0 is at the bottom and the platform has a 6" height. As you rest your thighs (hamstrings) on the slope and your legs on the platform, your body falls into a natural position. To help with my lower back pain, I have purchased many types of wedges and lumbar pillows. I am by far the happiest I have ever been with the support I bought. After foot and ankle surgery, I have found this wedge to be a practical solution to elevating my foot.
