The main reason I bought it is that I should be able to plug it into the car's cigarette lighter port and pump air into the mattress that way. When 12 volts are plugged in, the pump does not even turn on. When I turned on the engine, the alternator worked, the cigarette lighter worked, and I was able to charge my phone as soon as I plugged it My sole reason for buying this was for this purpose, and this nearly ruined our camping trip. My lucky situation is that I have a battery charger that will allow me to power this with a regular 12v volt adapter. This is useless, loud and has low air pressure, so spend a little more money on the battery powered ones.

There is something amazing about how a small thing can have such great power, "small but mighty. " The only question is how long will it last as this is the first time I have used it for the pool - so I don't know if it will heat up and break? Keep an eye out for the overheating instructions.

I used this thing to blow up a queen size air mattress, and it deflated it just as fast, sucking out all the air in the process. This is a great product. I am happy with This one is faster and easier to use than my old D battery one which took forever to fill with air and take it back out.

I like the fact that it quickly inflates inflatables to the point that we can take them with us to the beach or camping using the 12-volt adapter that came with it. We have been using the wall plug at home to quickly crank up the pump and it has worked flawlessly. The lightweight pump is powerful and lightweight. I highly recommend it.

I can't blow up my rafts and I do not want to go out to blow them up. What a great little pump for the price. With a car adapter and an electric cord, this makes it convenient for long drives. I'm in love with.

When your life is in the balance, this is the thing you need. There is, however, a weak power behind it. To blow up my son's kid pool, I used a portable air compressor. But it didn't become firm after blowing it up. Upgrade to a more powerful one by spending the extra couple of dollars.

When I bought it I wanted to blow up a large tow behind boat toy, but it was a bit hard to inflate. The cut off valve will routinely engage when the pressure is nowhere near being full, and sometimes even He probably wouldn't like toys made of thick vinyl, but simple pool blow ups would probably work for him.
