My apologies for the delay in responding. As far as certification is concerned, we are not certified Oils we produce are only intended for external use, and our facilities are only of the highest grade.
In the past, I have used this massage oil on my clients without the intention of preventing stretch marks or lightening them. As for this, though, sunflower oil in general is commonly known for it and this oil is 100% sunflower.
The warnings on some of our invoices and product labels about Prop 65 are of concern to us. It is our priority to continue to produce safe products. In order to remain in compliance with Proposition 65, this warning was added to ensure our customers in California can continue to use our products. Lead is an element that is found naturally in soil, plants, and water and is found in large quantities. The herbs used in Banyan's products grow naturally in nature and then are dried whole. Lead is not intentionally added to any of the products sold by Banyan.
