I asked the manufacturer the same question because the caffeine content isn't listed on their website, but the green coffee bean and green tea leaf extract they list as ingredients can each contain up to 25mg of caffeine. I haven't heard back from metagenics yet, but if you're sensitive to caffeine like I am (a small amount is fine, but too much can send me into a headache spiral), I would avoid these.
The color is such a deep green that, depending on the light, it could be mistaken for black. Try rubbing it on a piece of paper as if it were a crayon, and if that doesn't work, dab an edge with water and "color again," checking for a green tint or black.
My bottle, too, appears to be made of that extra tough plastic. I don't believe it's fake because my son got some from a pharmacist, and I double-checked the ingredients on the bottle I got and they were identical. Also, I haven't noticed any differences since starting these.

TAX ON AMAZON? I've been taking these vitamins for a few years now. The end result is fantastic. They're $15-$20 for some reason. In comparison to many other online retailers, Amazon charges $20 more per bottle. Taking advantage of people's fondness for Amazon is, in my opinion, a clumsy move. Particularly since Metagenics is the sole seller.
I purchased it in order to hasten my recovery from a severe illness. What I noticed was that after taking two pills as directed, I felt "buzzed" and couldn't sleep. I took half a pill the next day and experienced anxiety and chest pain. Despite the fact that one reviewer claimed that this product gave them energy, I would suggest starting with a smaller dose rather than two pills right away. I'm not sure if it's because of something not mentioned on the label, such as green tea or guarana, or because I'm just sensitive to the amount of folate in this product, but it doesn't work for me. Other vitamins did not make me feel the same way. At the same time, I adore Metagenics' Folapro, which gives you energy and a good mood without the buzz or the inability to sleep.
I don't convert folic acid to the form of folate required by your body. If you have a folate deficiency, this product will help you get the folate you need. I suffer from anxiety and depression as a result of this problem. After the second day of taking this vitamin, I felt much better. And I've been feeling that way ever since. Until. I needed to get out of there. I noticed after three days that I was missing something. I'm in desperate need of this; I'm not sure how or why it works, but I'm a skeptic who was convinced it wouldn't work. This is not a placebo effect; I am in excellent health! More optimistic, ambitious, and energised! It's more expensive than I'd prefer, but it's well worth it!.
This vitamin used to be one of my favorites, but now that some ingredients are missing, I'm going to try something else. Vitamins A, K, and D, for example, have been removed. I believe they are listing it horizontally, so you won't be able to tell. I'm extremely disappointed!.
Phytonutrients, also known as phytosterols, are plant-derived "steroids. " These chemicals have a wide range of effects, from reducing inflammation to preventing the development of cancer and precancerous cells. I believe I will continue to take this vitamin for as long as I am able to afford it. I prefer to chew up a tablet in my mouth first, then swallow it with a mouthful of whatever drink or meal I'm having at the time, as I believe this better mixes the nutrients for absorption. I wouldn't advise everyone to do this because the flavor of these ground-up meats isn't to everyone's liking. The bitterness and tartness of the up tablets are quite noticeable. Please keep in mind that the bitter polyphenol extracts are what help to power the anti-oxidant defenses of the cells and tissues. This supplement has anti-inflammatory properties. I get a gentle flush when I take both tablets at the same time (especially on an empty stomach). For the next hour or two, you'll have a buzzy feeling, followed by hours of smooth, stable energy. This vitamin appears to be genuine and well worth the investment. Many buyers were recommended this supplement by their doctor and had positive bloodwork/test and other improved results as a result of using it, as evidenced by the numerous comments on here.
I'm a little happier after seeing these. If I don't take them, I'm aware of it. The MTHFR gene in my body has two mutations. I can't convert folic acid to folate; I'll have to take it as is. That is present in these. Depression and anxiety are alleviated by using this supplement. I'd advise you to give them a shot.
Several years ago, my doctor advised me to take these vitamins. He's one of the few Ms you'll ever meet. who is well-versed in nutritional healing and frequently prescribes supplements rather than drugs. He's particular about which brands he uses (not because he sells them), owing to the wide range of quality and bio-compatibility. Products from various manufacturers are available. Since then, I've been using them exclusively, with a few brief forays into multi-tasking. Vitamins that are less expensive These are the ones I keep coming back to because they make me feel better overall. br>br>As an added bonus, my nails have never been stronger or longer since I started taking these vitamins, despite the fact that this was not the reason my doctor recommended them.
It's ideal for people who have MTHFR DNA deficiency because it contains folate rather than folic acid.
