If you are sensitive to supplements, it is most definitely strong stuff
3/5

The app has been in my possession for about a week, but I wanted to write a review and will update as the weeks pass. After my results revealed that I had anemia, I selected the Designs for Health brand because it's a brand recommended by a number of practitioners I had poor circulation and POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), blood clots in my legs and feet, ice cold hands and feet, mottled purple, red, white spots on the skin as well as very pale skin and extreme My body has been affected by a variety of ailments, including infections like Babesia and Lyme, that affect circulation and cellular composition. My mast cell activation and a lack of red meat means that eating can be a chore and extremely difficult due to severe reactions due to red meat. Having experienced these specific symptoms related to taking this supplement for years, I was happy to see the labs finally reflect something of what I have been feeling (as well as a functional medicine doctor who can help me with that and an adequate lab that measures things accurately). I have to tell you about the product. It comes in a capsule that is easy to open if you need to titrate it up which is what I had to do. During the first day of my training, I took about 15 minutes in the morning It should be taken 20 minutes after eating, as suggested on the bottle. I ate away from food even though my practitioner told me to do so. (I was out of the office over the weekend so couldn't contact. I began to feel ill about 3 hours later. I was out and about for the day, so that was really bad. I felt fatigued, foggy, nauseous, etc. I was out and about so that was a bummer. experienced stomach cramps and diarrhea. I never have diarrhea and, in fact, I'm normally very constipated and desperately need There was a positive and a negative to this. I felt my stools were very loose, but I did not feel like I had thrown up everything I had eaten. The next day, I took the drug as prescribed in compliance and experienced the same symptoms. As a result, I took a few days off. In the following day, I did feel better circulation wise.
3 days later I decided to start once again and decrease the dose by half. It is an easy process as you can squeeze the top out of the capsule and take it before bed to avoid any When placed in your mouth to swallow, it has a strongly metallic odor and almost tastes like blood. That is something to keep in mind. Two nights of taking half the dose was not enough so I reduced it Once I researched this, I found clinical studies actually recommending this route, so I started taking half the dose twice a day The best methods of absorption of iron are by those women whose iron levels are deficient - as proven by blood tests - and Therefore, I will stick to that plan and see what happens! It will be important to update this as time passes and when I take my next blood draw to determine if the product is working. I can say for sure that this is an extremely powerful product and if your body can handle it you will.

Ferritin levels were overlooked by doctors because of their low levels
5/5

During long battles with ongoing health issues, skin dermatitis brought on exhaustion and unpleasant symptoms of It was very painful, and the flare ups on the skin Several Kaiser doctors later, I changed to another one. The way I was treated was as if I were insane! In the end, I discovered a good primary care physician and was referred to a new dermatologist-after I was told there were no other Migraine attacks were becoming more frequent. Was my iron truly stolen by Kaiser and poor care for 2 years? Noone can say for certain, but could it really have been my iron? The mind-blowing stuff just blows me away.

I had my ferritin levels analyzed for the first time in my life. A number of complete blood counts are normal after that. . Per Kaiser's measure, I had a ferritin level of 8ng/ml, which is in the normal range of 22-28ng/ml Two hundred ng/ml. A deficiency of iron was definitely evident in me. I felt like I could not keep up with my body's demands when my mind was making plans. The longer I sleep, the more exhausted I would feel and the shorter I would feel To be honest, it had a direct impact on my professional life. I felt as if I was crazy, but I was actually in denial due to the demands of my job and my inability to keep up. Although I didn't feel lazy, I hadn't been happy with my efforts. Almost everything I did took so much energy Starting this particular supplement brand has been a tremendous experience. The pill I take is one each in the morning and in the evening. In addition to 1,000 mg vitamin C, I have also taken 1,000 mg of vitamin E There are packets in MergenC. I noticed that there was better absorption this time around. In fact, iron can appear in the stool when it has not been I have found that taking an increased dose of vitamin C As of the 19' of August, ferritin was 17. In June 2019, it was 8. In the near future, I'll be asking for my levels to be checked again. We will keep you informed. Here is all I want to say about that. The skin on my arms has healed, and I have not had any flare-ups. It is still painful and painful for me to deal with Chelitis, peeling, and inflammation in my mouth corners. There is no longer any significant irritation, but it has lessened in intensity. You need energy!

It makes you look good! The situation has improved since the last report. A and B There are no issues with the stomach.

The oxidation is way too rapid
3/5

It has been 3 years since I was diagnosed with anemia and have taken only these iron pills. I was referred to them by my doctor. Since I have a difficult time swallowing pills, the fact that I can open it was appealing to me. The capsules seem to absorb well as It is my biggest complaint that they do not usually last 4 months, even though 120 pills are contained in each bottle. The distance between the two is not My current bottle has been empty for 3 months at best, so I had to order a new one for my appointment this morning. My last purchase was 45 days ago, so I have to make an appointment so that I can request a substitute. This makes them rust/oxidize much faster than they should. Until recently, I've even tried placing sterile cotton balls in the jar after opening it in an effort to keep them fresh and protected from the air for a longer period of time. Rather than showing the difference between my 3 month old bottle and the new bottle, I saved a picture of my old bottle taken on July 10th to show how the pills look from the new bottle. There is a difference in how my body feels. In addition, for people with very low iron, it can be quite hard to understand what their symptoms are when the pills don't help anymore and their condition seems to get worse. The rust is starting to show! There seem to be some brands that are available with shorter shelf lives, but I wish they made packages for these on a monthly basis, or found another way to package the pills so that they stay fresher for longer periods of time.

The fact that it appeared to be a good option for people with sensitive stomachs made me excited to try it
3/5

I was excited to try this because it seemed like a good option for people with sensitive stomachs who have GERD. It did not work for me even though I took it with a meal like the bottle says. I had heartburn all night, and I couldn't sleep. Make sure you are careful if you have GERD!.

I find it to be helpful for my restless legs! I have noticed a big improvement in my restless leg syndrome since using this bioavailable iron
5/5

In the past, I took another brand, and I couldn't find the bio available type when I searched. Switched to regular Iron formula instead. I was almost unable to bear my RLS. The fact that another bio-available formula has been found is wonderful. It seems to have taken effect so much better on my RLS and I am absorbing it more effectively. Sleep is just as important to me. Blood work will be done this week to determine how much iron I have. I am looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Although I still have RLS each night, it is much better controlled now that I am taking Ferrochel Iron Chelate.
