This is not something I would do. You might not want to take the pill just because of its taste, but it is quite small and easily absorbed through food or water.
Melatonin is included in one tablet at a dosage of 2mg.
A part of the blended PURE Zzzs is Valerian root. In addition to the purest Zzzs blend, you will find Various herbs are included including chamomile flower extract, lemon balm leaf extract, valerian root extract, and lavender flower extract, which they claim

My significant other has pointed to my mild anxiety and sleeping issues as one of the reasons for trying these products. I decided to try them in order to placate her. In exchange for trying them (all 28) for 28 nights, I gave up my sleep. The following are the details. After 1/2 hour prior to bedtime, I noticed no difference and after one week I didn't notice any. The second week, I noticed that I was getting more sleep, but it turned out that I was getting better sleep of the deep kind. During the third week, I noticed intermittent sleep (although I still woke up periodically during the night), but felt generally more rested. My sleep is now more restful and I get more hours of sleep thanks to them. I have been taking them for two months without fail. There has never been a response from me Taking this combination is a choice I totally support, and I will continue to do so. Here's some information I hope is helpful.
It is only a 3 star rating (so I gave it a 4), since the time release portion of the medication does not leave me as groggy morning after morning for the rest of the night. The solution for this was to cut the tabs in half and only use half at a time.
They also came with three pills missing from the package. As for the used pack, they didn't like it either, and it was a used pack.
In the beginning, I found these were very helpful in falling asleep, but as I began to use them more often, their effectiveness decreased, though they did help me stay asleep throughout the night better than regular release melatonin did.
There is a defect with this product.
This pill contains less melatonin than OTC tabs and even if I add natural sleep aids, it is not helping me sleep at all. It only takes me a few for them to be effective, so I will go back to regular old, basic melatonin tabs that are significantly less expensive.
You can smell horrible odors coming from these. In an attempt to solve my long-standing problem of falling asleep, staying asleep, and waking up in the middle of the night, I turned to these techniques. Successfully smell horrible with 100 successes
