I appreciate how well packaged and high-quality the product is

Generally great products, well packaged, sealing on the bag is still intact. I take it as a telomere support product, so it's difficult to tell how effective it is at this point. My protein shake tastes earthy, but not bad, so I put a teaspoon in the shake and it really makes a big difference, I think. As if there was a touch of dark chocolate.

Instead, I received an oxidised brown product that was not worth the money

Apparently high levels of antioxidants in the product I received don't seem to have any health benefits. The product looks old, so it's likely to be ineffective. I plan on throwing it away don't buy stuff from china that grows in heavy pollution!.
