Questions & Answers
Hello, and thank you for asking such a great question! Our oil contains DPA, which your body can easily convert to EPA. DPA is a type of essential fatty acid that aids in the storage of up to three times more Omega-3 fatty acids in your body. Please be cautious of some brands that claim to be EPA-certified, as we believe some smaller brands on Amazon are engaging in some questionable labeling practices.
Our corporate headquarters are located in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. We don't use any Chinese ingredients. Our entire product line is made in the United States and Canada: ) Our Vegan Omega 3 Algal Oil is made from tank-raised algae. Capsulized in the United States after being grown in France.

For about 8 weeks, I was suffering from severe lower back pain. I never saw a doctor or went to a chiropractor, but I believe I strained my back. It had become swollen. I have a job that requires me to be active--climbing, lifting, squatting, and so on--but I am not in the best shape. With the lower back pain I was experiencing at 44, I was thinking I didn't want to see 45-years-old. I felt like an old man (I had to lie down to put my socks on-- I bought three bottles on the advice of a family member (and I'm glad I did)- I took one pill the night after I got it. The next morning, I was a different man, full of hope for another 44 years of pain-free living. I've been taking one a day for a month and haven't had any back pain. I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so because this product has helped me in ways I never imagined. This supplement has also increased my appetite, and I've never had a pill that tasted bad. This product's cost is very reasonable, especially considering the excellent results I've obtained. Thank you so much, FRESHFIELD!.
This product contains carrageenan, which CAUSES inflammation. We actually use carrageenan in the lab to cause inflammation in tissues to find things to counter it, so putting it in a joint health supplement is not a good idea. If at all possible, avoid buying anything that contains carrageenan.
I've been taking this DHA for a while and it's almost perfect, but I wish they would change the capsule formula and remove carrageenan, which has a negative effect on the permeability of the intestinal lining. I've heard complaints about the flavor, but I disagree vehemently- I had no idea DHA supplements had that issue because I've only ever taken this brand and it's been great, but I have to switch due to the risk. I'll switch back as soon as the carrageenan is removed! I've read a couple of other reviews that say the same thing.
These are ideal for me; I take one every day (when I remember). br>br>But mostly, I wanted to express my gratitude for the way this company chose to package the product; so many other companies fill their bottles halfway - br>br>But mostly, I wanted to express how appreciative I am of the way this company chose to package the product; so many other companies fill their bottles halfway - br>br>But mostly, I wanted to express how appreciative I am to give the appearance of more product, but it's all a waste of plastic! br>br>I try to be aware of those things as well as the amount of waste I generate. Although it may appear to be a minor point, I appreciate that this company chose a bottle that is the right size for the product. The capsules are filled to the brim, so no space is wasted, and while the bottle is slightly smaller, you still get 60 capsules, which is all that matters! Moreover, there is no strange taste or aftertaste; after all, these are algae-based omega pills, so don't expect them to taste like candy. It comes from the sea, so don't be surprised if it tastes like that. But wouldn't it be better if it tasted like the thing it came from so you could be sure it was genuine?br>br>Anyway, this product is fantastic, and I believe I made the best vegan DHA choice.
I was disappointed to receive this product, which I had expected to be a high-quality health supplement, only to discover that it contained carrageenan. This ingredient has been linked to colon cancer, and it has negative side effects. It is not recommended.
This is one of the few vegan omega-3 supplements available. DPA instead of EPA is present in 3's. Although it only contains 25 mg per capsule, DPA is said to be more potent than EPA, so that could be the case. Carrageenan, a GI irritant and suspected carcinogen, is the main flaw in this product. I'm not sure why anyone would put a potentially toxic substance in a product that is otherwise healthy. It must have something to do with money, I'm sure. Hopefully, the amount of carrageenan is insignificant, but it detracts from the product's overall quality, in my opinion. For that reason, I'm deducting a star. Otherwise, if you're looking for a vegan omega-3 supplement, this is a good option.
I despise how many vegan omegas on the market are sooo fricken expensive. All of the other vegan omegas I've seen cost around $30 for a month's supply and contain about 250mg per serving. I'd prefer 500-1000 words. I believe this is still a bit pricey at 1000mg, but it is the best deal I've found so far. It has a strange plant-like, fishy odor to it, but it doesn't bother me. I'm not sure why others are bothered by this. It's not like you're going to rip open the cap and eat it. The adorable bottle is appealing to me.
