A year ago, I did have one bad tub, and it seems that it was just a bad batch of tubs, since other customers had similar problems at the time. Since then, I've not had a bad tub. I can honestly say that this is a high quality rice protein and that's still the only protein that I do not have stomach issues with. Though it leaves a bit of a froth, it dissolves fairly well. This product appears to be constantly being enhanced, so it seems they're always looking for new features to enhance. I have tried a few brown rice proteins and this one is by far the best. A recent update Regardless of what the issue with the previous container was, the situation has now been rectified, and all my purchases since then have all been of the same quality. The star on the left is an extra one. This is still rice protein, so it is somewhat bland, but if you have food sensitivities or allergies that restrict your ability to consume protein, this stuff may be helpful for you. It hasn't resulted in any side effects, and since I started taking it, my muscle tone has improved. I will. - I notice some changes in the manufacturing process of this protein powder, and it hasn't been a good change. The rice protein I tried was among the best I've ever had. As with the previous tub that I consumed (and just finished), it tasted like brown rice protein with a taste that's slightly sweet and a fine powder that dissolves well- My experience with rice protein powders has been much better than other gritty powders I have tried. My habit is to take this straight with water once a day for breakfast, as if it were a medicine, which is essentially what it is. Although this tub tastes similar to old white rice already soaked in stale water and has a bitter aftertaste, I quickly recognized the taste as comparable to when I was eating rice porridge in the middle of nowhere Asia prepared from old rice and boiled water. However, even that tub did not possess the same bitter taste as this one. I have the impression that there has been a major change to get rid of the gritty texture, and I suspect one of the changes was to do with the However, I'll take the little bit of grit if it means getting rid of the new flavor, which I don't like. I will finish this tub, as it is one of the few protein powders I can eat, and at $36 (which was higher than I had previously paid), it is too expensive for me to throw away. What happened? I have no idea. It may have been a change in the formula. It is terrible the taste of the one you sent me. I have been purchasing this product for years. There won't be a future purchase for me.

Invest in something productive instead of wasting As a result of a prolonged search for a vegan protein powder that is IBS friendly, I was glad to find this one. Although I liked how it tasted (definitely not sweet or cream-like like other protein powders), I ordered my second tub. After going through my first one I was really disappointed in how this second tub tastes. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to swallow it. My disappointment is that the product has a strong and weird aftertaste. I am not sure if it's a "batch" thing or simply that the product was changed. Either way, just when I thought I found the one, I am left There was no response from the seller after I contacted them a few months ago.

There must be some quality control issue, either their formulas have changed or their quality control procedures have been violated. During the past two years, we have purchased a lot of these and eaten them all. It has not been edible since we received it. The smell is awful, and the taste is even worse! It might just be me, but I've tried plenty of other protein powders and did not feel the same way after taking those. the first time I tried it either, I took it every day for a week, and then stopped taking it when I no longer needed it. Getting used to the bland flavor would have been possible, but anxiety was very I may have simply been the only one in the situation, and it does not mean that anyone else would reacted the same way.

My next order of rice protein won't be this one. Since I started using it several years ago, I've never looked back. I thought it was fine. The purpose was served. I threw out my last order because it has an odd, bitter taste. I'm going to order a new.
