The chocolate/peanut butter flavor is fantastic, and I blend it with almond milk, spinach, blueberries, chi seeds, and other ingredients to make a delicious smoothie. I use it as a source of protein to help build muscle (I don't eat meat), but as far as weight gain goes, I guess it depends on how many smoothies you can drink per day and what you add. Enjoy yourself; it's well worth a shot.
It is a complete protein that does not contain soy.

This product appeals to me, but the packaging is incongruous - Fill it up or shrink it down to fit on a shelf better. I'm not interested in purchasing something that is only half-completed. Unnecessarily large and full.
I also think it tastes great, despite the fact that it has a slight green flavor, which is to be expected with kale. ) When I blend it with almond milk, I always add frozen bananas, frozen strawberries, or both. I would strongly suggest it.
Getting rid of trash in our products is a priority for us. (Give me some sugar or fruit sweetener, or just leave it unsweetened and let me add some agave!)br>br>So this shake powder blew me away. It tastes great, has no unpleasant aftertaste, and has a fine texture (just a smidgeon of graininess, which I don't mind). It didn't give me gas, pain, or anything like that, even though I have severe IBS. It's the one I'm going to use from now on. br>br>I make my shakes with unsweetened almond milk and, on occasion, macadamia milk in a blender ball cup. It worked fine in a blender with frozen berries, but it didn't taste particularly good.
It tastes a little like the dessicated leaves I've been seeing in my backyard this fall. I'm sure I'll be able to make it through. It can be tolerated in an avocado and banana smoothie, but it's not a treat.
I'm not sure I could count the number of vegan protein powders I've tried. I needed a vegan protein powder that was free of Stevia. I opened it up today and gave it a try with plain, unsweetened almond milk to see how I liked it. It is without a doubt the best-tasting vegan protein powder I've ever tried. The chocolate flavor is what I'm going for. It's not chalky; instead, it's extremely filling, smooth, delicious, and creamy. The best part is that there is no Stevia in this recipe. I'm overjoyed, and I'll be purchasing this protein powder exclusively from now on. Yum!.
My family and I have tried our hardest to swallow this, but we have been unable to do so. It has a terrible flavor. We've tried making smoothies with everything we can think of to cover up the taste, but the result is gritty and unpleasant. I'm hoping to reclaim my funds.
Amazing Grass also has poor customer service! I'm gluten and dairy intolerant, so I'm not sure if it was contaminated with either, but this product makes me sick! Gluten and dairy free, according to the label! My stomach hurts and bloats, and I'm nauseated to the point of vomiting. Customer service essentially said "oh well" and offered no assistance other than "it's possible the Kale in this product is making you sick"? I consume Kale in my smoothies twice a day and have never felt ill as a result of it. I am dissatisfied with Amazing Grass and their customer service, and I would advise other customers not to waste their money with them.
For years, I've consumed the chocolate flavor for breakfast. It's just filling enough to get me through the morning while also providing an energy boost. (There isn't any caffeine or anything like that. ) It's because of the vegetables and protein, I believe. ) You can make it with chocolate almond milk for a decadent treat, or you can just use plain almond milk. I recently purchased vanilla in order to try something different. I adore it. This book comes highly recommended.
