Since I began testing recovery products about a year ago, I have found that all of them lack great taste, but Tailwind Recovery is a great product. I have found that mixing it with water will yield a delicious cup of chocolate milk that really does taste like that as opposed to me faking it to believe that I am drinking something yummy like the other similar products It is divine to mix with almond milk, and it is truly magical, making whatever terrible ordeal you have just put your body through totally worth it - even better than some stinky t-shirt from a race. And yet another medal on top of it. In the gym, I will sometimes drink this stuff just for the sake of drinking it. The feat is truly incredible, I don't know how the tailwind managed it.
I have to say that Tailwind Recovery works, however it is one of the most unpleasant flavors of any supplement I have ever had to swallow. In fact, I have tried making it hours before I drink it and I cannot finish 16 oz of it. It is true that I am utterly exhausted by the time I wake up the next day. The next time, I will definitely try something else besides chocolate.
