It works great when I'm suffering from lunch fatigue after lunch, and i simply add the lil' scoop to my 32oz water bottle when I need a little kick. It changes the taste of the water by turning it brown, but the powder does not alter the color. As far as bitterness is concerned, I did not taste it, but maybe they used too much, what some folks reported. Anyway, I usually only need one scoop to get me through the afternoon until I get off at 5 p. m.
Seeing as I love guarana, I was a little gun-shy after reading the reviews. It did not result in me feeling overwhelmed or jittery, nor did I crash, which is unusual for me after driving 10 hours six days a week. It gave my coffee a little coco taste, and I was able to wake up with no jittering or nervousness. I have used a full small scoop. My next purchase will be this one.
When you take the first scoop, do not take a full scoop unless you drink like three or four cups per However, it doesn't have a great taste, so it's not something I would recommend if you just add.
This product is used in a serum for the eyes, due to caffeine's calming effects on the eyes.
My usual review style rarely involves writing reviews, but I feel I must warn others who wish to buy this as well. My goal was to find a caffeine powder that was tasteless that I could drink with my water. The reviews I read made this seem like it would be the perfect gift. There is a pretty strong taste to it though, like a bad cup of In the past two attempts, I've dumped both of the liquids down the sink after adding them to water. My own personal suggestion is not to eat this stuff if you are looking for flavorless. Maybe you can mix it with a smoothie or something but I would not recommend it for anyone looking for flavorless food.
Caffeine doesn't make sense to me. Energy drinks carry up to 344 mg of caffeine, but it doesn't make sense that powered caffeine is so horrible. There is a problem with this powder. I have gotten a white, powder, caffeine powder before that I found equally irritating - it is totally tasteless and odorless, and I cannot take it. That's an awful bitter taste. The drink is so bitter that no matter what it is mixed with, it is not drinkable.
I find it difficult to determine the exact dosage. It's better to use a tiny bit in your morning tea or coffee and continue repeating until you get the desired effect. There may be something better to opt for if you want morning energy, but this is a good price for what you get.
