I purchased this item, but was disappointed to discover that the Amazon labeling does not correspond to the actual packaging. After purchasing the product, I noticed a warning from California's cancer-prevention law. policy on warnings This product contains chemicals that have been linked to cancer and reproductive harm in California. I'm not sure what this means for this product, but I'm trying to use it to improve my digestive health, so this labeling is a red flag for me, and if I'd seen it, I wouldn't have bought it. I'm especially concerned when a company fails to disclose it on their Amazon product page, and I don't find out until I receive the item in the mail. I didn't taste the product, so I gave it a three-star rating because I don't know how it tastes because I returned it.

I bought this product after a functional medicine doctor recommended it to help me with my leaky gut symptoms. I combined it with a vanilla milkshake from their store. Even though I only used it once, I haven't had any of my usual lower GI discomfort when drinking protein shakes, even when using almond milk! I was attempting to heal a leaky gut with this. It's the original version, without any flavorings. I'm worried that this will raise my blood sugar levels and cause me to gain weight around my midsection. It can't be combined with anything that isn't very sweet and gritty.
