Questions & Answers
This one is my favorite, with a light to moderate hold and a great smell. If you're referring to the grittier balm, it has a strong grip, no odor, and contains actual grit. If you're curious, go ahead and buy it. $ 20. From $0 to $30. 00 is the only way to find out. For the past 20 years, I've used beard wax, promades, creams, and oils, and I've tried a lot of different ones, but I always come back to honest amish "slick." Purchase it; you'll enjoy it, and your lady will as well.
No, it does not promote growth; instead, it merely conditions and maintains it.
Yes. After applying the wax, I style my beard with a boar bristle brush or a Kent comb. On a beard, a boar brush is far superior to a synthetic bristled brush; I apply a liberal amount of wax to my beard and work it in with my hands before brushing or combing it to smooth it out. This works for me because I have a thick beard. If you have straight hair, you may be able to use your hands to apply the wax and smooth it out.
I'm not sure if Slick Beard Wax contains nut oils, but I'm fairly certain that some of their other products do. Send an email to the seller (via Amazon or Etsy) with the following message: When I asked if the Slick had tea tree or lavender oil in it, he responded quickly (answer: yes). This is not the case. I hope this has been of assistance.

This product does not function as a wax or as a slick as it claims. Instead, it merely oiled and shined my beard. I was looking for a wax and not something to "oil and shine" my beard. If someone is looking for that, organic coconut oil or 100% she I'm sorry, but I'm not impressed. Hopefully, this will not happen to anyone else in the future. Thanks.
It smells like a chai latte or a chai/pumpkin earthy combination to me. It smells great for about an hour after application, and then it's gone. It softens and moisturizes my beard, but there's no discernible difference between it and regular HA beard wax. This version has a better scent, and the wax feels harder and thicker to me. I can scoop out regular HA wax with just my finger, but this wax is much harder to get out, so I have to dig it out with my fingernail. In comparison to the other wax, it also feels more dry and thick. However, once it's applied, I can't tell the difference between it and the original HA wax. Get this one solely for the sake of the scent.
It is something that I use on a regular basis (1. I've been using it for 5 months to keep my beard, which is fairly thick and currently growing (it's due for a trim - but I'm debating whether to keep it or trim it right now) and a properly styled handlebar mustache. For me, the weight of this material is ideal. I'm sure HA has a wax that will work for just about any type of beard with their line of products available at various different hold levels. br>br>I've tried all of their different levels of hold due to HA's phenomenal customer service. I had originally ordered just the slick and the extra grit to try them out for the first time. After about 10 days, my order hadn't arrived, so I contacted them via e-mail. mail. I wasn't upset at all, and the e-mail didn't bother me in the least. It was merely a friendly inquiry in the mail. HA apologized profusely and promised that my order, along with a few "special gifts," would be shipped out as soon as possible. I receive a package containing the entire HA beard care line, including all waxes, one of their bar soaps, and their conditioner, two days later. I felt compelled to write a review because I was so moved by the gesture. They went above and beyond expectations, demonstrating that they truly "get" the dying concept of customer service. As a result of this, and their high-quality product, they've gained a new customer. br>br>As previously stated, this is the wax that works best for my beard, but all of them are good, feel clean, and the scent is tolerable for someone who doesn't like licorice scents (like me). The scent is not at all offensive to me, and the bar soap is fantastic. Because I feel like I need to keep some of the oils in the beard for some semblance of control, I only use the soap every third or fourth day (the rest of the time, I use Bluebeards cleanser and conditioner). Regardless of how much wax is used, the bar soap cleans and softens the beard to the point where it becomes unmanageable for the rest of the day. It's wonderful, but I'd suggest using the soap twice a week. I use the wax on a daily basis. br>br>Of all the waxes I've tried, this one has the best hold and keeps my beard/stache soft and fresh all day. I'm destined to be a repeat customer, thanks to Honest Amish's outstanding customer service when my order was delayed. This book comes highly recommended.
The scent is soothing, and unlike most beard products, it dries while soothing the grizz for the rest of the day.
It works great, the smell is only present for a short time, and I don't notice it as much as those who must have a keen sense of smell do. I've even mixed conditioner and wax together and found that it works for me, infusing softness and control into my beard at the same time. Love productsbr>If you have a beard that needs some life injected into it, perhaps a little too much life at times, the wax is perfect for me and perhaps you. Give it a shot; for the price of these fantastic products, I don't think you'll be disappointed!.
This, on the other hand, is fantastic. The stuff smells amazing and works exactly as it should. It hydrates, softens, and holds hair in place. When I shape my beard in the morning, I use this product with a tiny dollop of The Bearded Goon's Ridiculously Strong Beard Wax for a little extra hold and form. It works like a charm. This product line was recommended to my barber because it is important that others are aware of it. This is a product that I will buy again without a doubt.
I've been using this product for about ten days and it's exactly what I'm looking for. It holds my beard in place all day long after I apply a dime-sized amount to a slightly damp beard and spread it out with a comb. This is not to be confused with mustache wax. This does not provide the hold of mustache wax if you have a particularly thick mustache, like I do. For longer beard hairs on your cheeks and chin, on the other hand, this provides the ideal amount of hold without making the hair feel hard or brittle. This is a product that I will continue to use as long as it is available. Congratulations on your accomplishment.
Great.
