What does the wax smell like? I know it's minty, but it doesn't smell like mint. ?
My sense of smell isn't great, but I'm not picking up on the wax.
I bought a neutral color and noticed that the white wax had black dots, which I assumed were fungus. Is this normal?

What is a neutral color?
I'm not sure "neutral" is the right word because my mustache has a lot of "chrome" these days. It doesn't move from its original location, and the wax doesn't add any additional color. It's quick to "dry" or "set." It's something I've been using for a long time.
Can the neutral wax lighten the color of where I apply it if I have a dark brown moustache and beard? I'm not sure, but my moustache appears to be lighter. ?
It should be suitable for use. My father's mustache was grey; mine is greying but still has a dark color throughout. When I use it, it becomes obvious.

It's not a gel, but it's a fantastic tube wax

I've used waxes and a different brand of tube wax (which is actually a gel, not a wax), but this product is a wax in a tube. The natural color is white when applied and dries clear. It dries to a firm hold, but it doesn't flake off throughout the day. It lasts all day and is easy to remove with warm, soapy water. This is my new "go to" brand when it comes to hiking and being outside. It doesn't have a waxy or sticky surface that collects dust, and it looks and performs well.

Is something different now? Clubman Mustache Wax has been my go-to mustache wax for years

For more than 40 years, we have been the preferred option. However, I'm curious if the formula has been tweaked in any way. It appears to be thinner, but it is also more easily applied. It combs- It goes in without a hitch, but it doesn't seem to have the same initial hold power.
